Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream Launches at Drugstores in the US

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream has launched at drugstores in the US.

Take a look!

Interestingly enough they have testers for this available! Props for that because I think it’s rather nice being able to swatch the product in store for not only color testing reasons but also to get a feel for the formula.

I’ve already reviewed it and liked the formula but felt like it was not a BB Cream but simply a tinted moisturizer.

At Harmons it was $6.69 and at CVS I saw it for $8.99.

Tried it?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Finally found it at Wegmans grocery store last night. I normally use a TM, and so far I like this.

I bought this for some strange reason when it showed up in Austria. The texture is fine for me, but we only have one shade available which is called Universal Apricot. It’s orange (what a shock). It probably works on tan folks, but it’s disgusting on fair skin.
So I’m back with Clinique City Block Sheer and a few dots of concealer now. Much better.

I did buy this at Wal Mart yesterday but when I got home I saw the “titanium dioxide cream” labeled at the bottom of the package. Not sure how I feel about that really. I know it’s used in a lot of mineral type make ups but I’ve also read that it’s not so great for you. I checked the ingredients on other foundations/tinted moisturizers I’ve use and titanium dioxide wasn’t labeled or was only labeled at the very bottom as “may contain”. I think if I’m apprehensive about it, it might just be best to return and stick with my favourite Tarte Full Coverage 12 Hr foundation!

For a $10 (Canadian) Tinted Moisturizer, I’m sold! It really balanced out my complexion.

it’s been in Canada for a while so i picked it up a couple weeks ago in the second darkest shade. i haven’t tried any true Asian bb creams but i’ve been following reviews on North American ones so i expected a typical tinted moisturizer from this and i love it for that purpose! gives me a great shot of sheer coverage and spf and stays in place really well as long as i set it with powder. me likey 🙂

I paid about 8$ for this at Walmart. I am a canadian and was looking for a TM or BB cream. I really thought theese testers were really cute and the lightest colour matched me well. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I’m in Boston and I can’t find this stuff anywhere but I’m dying to try it!! I’m so tempted to just buy it online for way more than I’d pay in-store. 🙁

I love this as a tinted moisturizer and sunscreen but I have to agree it doesn’t seem to be a BB cream. A BB cream is supposed to have benefits such as skin lightening and serum qualities. I cannot find the ingredients anywhere other than the titanium dioxide, which by the way is one of the best sun preventatives to use. It is a block as opposed to a sunscreen. Note to Marlie, do the research on it and you might change your mind.
