Sleek Makeup Blush by 3 Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

What’s better than a single Sleek Make Blush? Three of ’em! There’s just something about variety when it comes to makeup and more is always the order of business as far as I’m concerned.

Sleek recently introduced their Blush by 3 Palettes which includes three next to full size blushes in a single slim line compact. I actually ordered ALL the shades after getting a press sample for review but I had issues with my order boo! So I only have the one shade to review for you today but will follow up with swatches of the others when they arrived.

Let’s take a look!

This palette is a slick, generously size black compact with a full size mirror. It’s small enough to travel super friendly in your makeup bag but not so small that you can’t comfortably get at each blush with a brush. The wells are a little smaller than a depotted NARS Blush. I think the palette reeks classy goodness as it’s simple, practical, yet very MAC-like.

The shade selection I have here is Pink Sprint which is pretty overwhelming as you can see. These are strong, vibrant shades of blush best suited to a darker skin than my own but with a fan brush and a really light hand you can easily use these for a flush of color.

Some of these colors remind me of shades I already own from the single blush range so do beaware prior to purchasing any of the Blush by 3 Palettes that you may run across a dupe or two.

I’ve always find the Sleek Makeup Blush formula challenging to work with as they are SUPER pigmented and in most cases matte so they end up applying a bit on the patchy side. I suggest moisturizing well prior to application, follow up with primer, and remember go lightly these need a little TLC to get the best finish.

Pink Sprint is includes a raspberry red, a bright fuchsia, and mauve-y pink color all of which have semi-matte formulas. Don’t expect to work with all three of these shades at once, use them individually for the best results unless you’re going for a Bozo the Clown look, in that case, go crazy, use ’em all!

Overall, Blush by 3 gives a nice bit of bang for your buck and totals a whooping 0.68 oz of blush total. That’s like two full blushes and a half! Some of the shade selections can be scary for the fairer skinned out there but they should be major appealing to ladies of color who have a hard time tracking down a richly pigmented blush to show up on their skin. No worries though, there are a total of five shade selections to choose from so you’re bound to find at least one of the trios to love on.

I like this particular shade but I’ll wear only the one in the middle so I’ll skip it. But I do like Sleek’s blushers!

Love the pigmentation on these. I haven’t tried anything by Sleek, but at this price, I think I have to!

Those. Look. GORGEOUS. They would look so lovely on deep chocolate colored skin!!! Definitely too dark for me though too (and I’m darker than you!) *SOB*.
And it makes me sad that we don’t have Sleek here in the states… I have heard nothing but horror stories from their online ordering system and wouldn’t want to risk my money on it. Too bad too since I would probably spend a good chunk of my paychecks on their products lol.

These look so magical to this dark skinned lady over here! Sometimes to build up a color you have to add so many layers that it ends up looking powdery but these look so AMAZING! I will def be ordering some

Wow those are insanely pigmented! I don’t think I’d be brave enough to pull off any of those colors though but will definitely take a look at their website for some lighter tones. Thanks MUSE!

The shades are so pigmented! I was going to say that there’s no way they would look good on me, but then I thought about it… They actually probably would because I tend to have a hard time finding blushes since I feel they disappear into my skin LOL Definitely worth a look!

So pretty…especially the shade on the far left. These are the kind of colors I love to look at but can’t pull off.

I purchased three of the sets and let me tell you I’m dark (NW43 in MAC)and they were extremely pigmented on me. I had to blend like crazy but once blended, it looked gorgeous!

these colors are amazing! I actually think they would work on fair skin but you would have to apply with a fan brush for the lightest possible application.

I have the “flame” palette and I absolutely love it. I want to get “lace” too but I have quite a few of the single ones (flushed, pomegranate, flamingo, dixie pink, suede and coral…yes, I know – too many!). I think one of my favorites is flushed and I believe it’s very similar to the darkest one of this Pink Sprint palette. All Sleek blushes are very pigmented. I am quite fair skinned and I apply them with a very light hand, trying to build the color where needed and they’re just gorgeous and very long lasting. I only own Cargo and Bobbi Brown blushes apart from Sleek, and I tell you I find myself reaching out for the Sleek ones very, very often! Thank you for reviewing them!
