Smashbox Airbrush Whipped Cheek Color

Today my weekend starts with a bang courtesy the new Smashbox Airbrush Whipped Cheek Color.

They don’t always work but there’s something so terribly thrilling about whipped blush. What is it about the formula that excites me?

Anyone feel the same?

Smashbox Airbrush Whipped Cheek Color ($29) is a whipped mousse blush formulation that gives an airbrushed, healthy finish to cheeks and face.

The lasting formula contains ultra-fine pigments for blendability and silicone elastomers to minimize the appearance of imperfections for a perfectly radiant glow.

Shades:

  • Berry Bliss
  • Dusty Rose

I’m quite in love!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Very excited for these! I just recently bought a smashbox blush and turned out to love it a lot more than I thought I was going to.

  • Mindy

I may have to try the dusty rose color! Of course, I’ll wait till its on sale…

Second this Mindy – SB is pretty pricey, I think…. I’ll see if I can scoop up the Dusty Rose on sale somewhere sometime..Looks really pretty!

I had one of these from a TSV a few years ago. It was lovely. I wonder if they changed the formulation, the other one was for lips and cheeks but worked better on cheeks.

The “whipped” and “bouncy” formulas really hook and reel me in! So you arent the only one MUse!

    • the Muse

me too! me too! its a hit or miss formula but I love it anyways!

  • Joan

You know me, Muse, the blush junkie. Saw these on Nordstrom’s website and they’re in my shopping cart. Not sure about the Dusty Rose shade though. Would love to see swatches. I also like the idea of the “whipped” and “bouncy” blushes like the Tarte Airblush Bouncy Blush from a past TSV. Waiting for the next collection being shipped the beginning of July with the Shimmering Pink bouncy blush.

joan I forgot about that 2nd shipment! I have them in my cart too ;-D debating on hitting the “switch” lol! Not sure if I really NEED them yet but you know I’ll swatch if I do get them ;-D how was your 4th? Hope it was lovely!

Checked on QVC for the Tarte auto delivery. Was supposed to be shipped 7/9. Now it looks like it was moved to 7/19. Sephora also shows the new Smashbox airbrush whipped blush on their site, but it’s not in stock yet. I’ve also been holding off hitting the “switch” ’cause I’m not sure about the shades AND do I reallllllly need them? Want them, but need them?

  • Harshleen@BeautyTidbits

I am with you on that Muse!! These look pretty!!

  • Becca @ The Beauty Sample

I know I just saw these the other day on Nordstroms site–these look interesting! I haven’t really loved a whipped blush formula as of yet, but I am always intrigued!

  • Janee

I still own the Maybelline dream mousse blushes in four shades. I’ll pass on these.

  • Cindy

Ohh these look like velvet! I want to rub that all over my cheeks!
