About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. this is the first i’ve heard of this, but would be a dream if it truly does correct dark spots!! sounds like a miracle product, and who doesn’t love a good miracle:)

This sounds interesting. I don’t need high powered dark spot correcting, but a little help making acne discolorations fade faster. If this can pull that off it will be brilliant!

Sounds interesting… But I don’t think I would buy this one ’cause it’s too pricy. I know there’s the possibility to help with dark spots, but I’m just looking for a good primer and I think I can get one for a better price ^^

Which primer would you recommend for combination/oily skin?

My guess is the secret ingredient is probably hydroquinone, it’s the most popular and gentle yet effective ingredients when it comes to dark spot removal.

I’ve never been able to get a dark spot corrector to work on my dark spots. Le sigh.

Dermablend has a dark spot correcting primer as well. I work at Ulta and got 2 full sized ones as gratis…

Saw this on Nordstrom’s website. I like to order from Nordstrom’s b/c of the free shipping (no minimum) and free returns. It is backordered, though, to 7/14. I did place the order and hoping to receive it sooner. I do like Smashbox primers. I was bummed, though, when they stopped making the Color Correcting Primers in oil free. I loved the Blend color correcting primer and I have one extra bottle that’s oil free. Don’t understand why they stopped making the oil free. When they changed the packaging to the tube, I was so happy, but then realized they weren’t oil free. I am happy this new one is oil free.
