Victoria’s Secret The Nakeds Eye Kit

Shame on you Victoria’s Secret for not letting me peek inside your new Nakeds Eye Kit. The new Victoria’s Secret The Naked Eye Kit looks terribly exciting to me….! But Vicky failed to let me peek inside of it, a simple splash image of the front of the palette graces the website but not the actual contents.

A quick glance around store late last week didn’t yield any goodness either.

Sigh…guess I’ll have to lem for a little while longer but know I will own you!

The new Nakeds Eye Kit from Victoria’s Secret promises 10 fabulous shades of earth toned paired up with muted pastels and smoky gray and shimmery black accidents. This palette contains essential shades for creating neutral eye looks with step by step instructions to create a Barely Nude and Seductively Naked look!

Includes:

  • 10 Eye Shadows
  • Eye Liner Pencil
  • Dual-Ended Eye Shadow Brush

Love it!

Now to see the inside….! Update: See photos of the inside of the palette here.

Anyone see it at their local Victoria’s Secret?

BTW…I may have regained new found respect for Tom Cruise he was kinda sorta sexy as Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages. The film is getting thrashed pretty badly this morning but it being a film that contained some of my favorite bands (Styx, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Poison, etc…etc..) I couldn’t resist going to see it. Even though it went all kinds of bad Glee-ful at moments although I didn’t feel that way about the play…humff….(Sorry, I’m not a Gleek!).

I want it but I’m dissapointed that they copyed UD SOO much. I know the Naked palettes were a crazy money-making hit but at what point are you riding promising coat tails or just being a pathetic knock-off. If it awesome, yay for us. I’m surprised UD hasn’t raised a stink about it though

    • the Muse

daniela I can’t think of a single company that isn’t riding off the other’s coat tails ;-D this happens time and time again..revlon’s new chunky lip balms=clinique chubby sticks garnier bb cream, garnier dark spot corrector, too faced’s naked eye palette, revlon lip balms l’oreal lip balms.

      • Sheepy

I think this is the most obvious Naked copy though (packaging anyway! Look at the font! LOL)

Of course, if the shadows are different shades then it won’t be a rip off 😛

I’m really tempted to buy Naked 2 because of the packaging (pretty and portable) but I might get this instead :>

      • Daniela

True all companies ride coat tails which I love since I can get similar products cheaper..I just meant this one is soo copycat. Lol couldn’t they have chosen any other word but “naked”?

          • Janelle Monique

Nakeds refers to the line of bras VS already has, so in that way, it’s not a ripoff of the name.

  • Becca

Looks intriguing. I might bite. Do we know a price yet? I have a $10 off coupon that I need to burn before the end of June 😀

  • LINDARRAGNAR

That movie rock of ages looked interesting, but I hate musicals and glee makes me want to cry. I won’t watch it, but I’m glad you enjoyed it!

    • the Muse

lol tell me about it glee is the worst! I sob too whenever I hear them butchering a song hahaha!

  • Southern Gorgeous

Oh boy. Y’all know I love my neutrals, and VS has some seriously amazing shadows, every one I have bought has been pigmented and butter soft!

  • Abbey

I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by their shadows, and $28 is not too shabby. I can’t wait to see the inside!!

  • Becca @ The Beauty Sample

This certainly is intriguing–and I have yet to try any of the VS cosmetics (but I always hear good things) so I might be tempted to check this out in-stores. Not terribly excited though, as it is kinda a blatant rip-off (at least from the packaging) of UD’s Naked Palette, which I already own anyway

I saw Rock of Ages yesterday and spent the whole two hours with a huge grin on my face. The summer of 87 was the summer before my senior year of college, sonia brought back some excellent memories. My hubby ordered the soundtrack for me before we even got home. 🙂

    • the Muse

ha liz awesome ;-D you really remember these songs than. ;-D I inherited most of them from my sister, absolutely adore all the bands featured ;-D

  • Jenny

I wish I could see the inside of this palette before I decide to buy it or not. May have to check out my local VS this weekend!

  • Sarah

Muse, I emailed Customer Service at VS to see if they will put up a picture of the inside of this, I am very intrigued to see the inside as well! Hopefully they will put one up. They can’t expect to sell the palette without a photo of the actual colors!!!

    • the Muse

I just got mine in the mail as I did buy it sight unseen! The colors are very nice and neutral.
