Vincent Longo Perfect Shine Lip Gloss Costa Fiore Review & Swatches

Finally, vampy lips you will be mine! Vincent Longo Perfect Shine Lip Gloss in Costa Fiore is probably one of the easiest ways to get a a vampy look down without coming out of looking like Elvira Mistress of the Dark.

Anyone who can pull off a vampy lip gets major points from me because I find it terribly difficult. Not only does it overwhelm my face but in many cases the color I choose tends to migrate around my lip line and ends up all over my chin, cheeks, and other parts of my face.

Shades of deep, dark red just aren’t my BFF.

Let’s take a look at Costa Fiore, promise it’s the easiest way to pull off a vampy lip look without being too bold.

I admit, I have a super soft spot in my heart for most all of the Vincent Longo Cosmetic Collection. It’s such a terribly underrated brand! I miss that Sephora no longer carries it.

Perfect Shine Lip Gloss is a thinner consistency gloss with the perfect balance of color and shine. The thinner consistency allows for a comfortable, non-sticky wear. Don’t let the lack of tackiness fool you though, this has a great wear time for a gloss that lacks tack and has such a weightless feel. I can get at least five hours of wear without eating or drinking, that’s pretty darn great in my lip gloss experience. The gloss does have a hint of vanilla flavor but nothing overwhelming so sensitive users won’t be too disturbed by it.

Costa Fiore is a very easy to wear warm shade of rich red. Dare I say the shade reminds me of dried blood? Eep! Don’t be disgusted, promise it wears lovely. This is surprisingly easy to wear considering it veers towards being quite vampy and bold. The color doesn’t have intense pigmentation but still manages to offer a sheer to medium color pay off with an opaque finish if you layer well. Since the formula is thinner it applies easily and leaves behind a nice hint of color at first application however, a second application and a follow up with a bit of clear gloss allows it to go from ordinary to extraordinary. I love how it has that vampy edge but still looks sophisticated and elegant.

I’m taking bets that vampy lips will be big again for Fall. Costa Fiore is your head start to embracing the trend easily. Overall, Perfect Shine Lip Gloss has a fabulous formula and Costa Fiore creates a gorgeous vampy look with minimal effort or fuss.

Likey!

Worthy of a pick up!

This looks beautiful on you! I love sheer glosses and lipsticks (it’s the only way I’ll way color on my lips!), so I definitely need to check these out!

omg. want-reminds me of Revlon “street wear”-( anyone else remember that?) in “blood”, i would wear that in high school for ballet recitals and would kill if it were still avaliable…must grab!

I remember STREET WEAR! LOVED those lip glosses, they were cheap and the best colors and staying power. And they didn’t even taste bad. Lots of that line had super pigmentation too.

ooooh that is so pretty and look great on you Muse! I like the sheerness of it. It def makes it more wearable in my opinion. I’ve gotten to where I don’t wear many dark lipsticks or glosses anymore but this one is really pretty.

I may have to splurge on this one. I love Vincent Longo products. I also miss that Sephora no longer carries the line.
