YBF Liplights Lip Gloss are kinda my best friend at the moment. How am I just now discovering these? Who knew great formula and color could be found in a tube lipgloss?
Don’t get me wrong, I love gloss in a tube but I commonly associate the packaging with sheer, no color formulas and plenty of sweet, diabetic inducing flavors, I’m talking to YOU Liplicious.
When I got a set of YBF Liplights Lip Gloss in the mail I kindly tossed them into my “To be reviewed” pile and forgot about them. My friend Jai started digging through my pile of “to be reviews” one day and gasped, “You didn’t try these glosses yet?”
No…why what was so special about them?
He convinced me they were incredibly awesome so the next day I promptly tried them out. Whoa. I can’t believe I tossed these off as just another tube lipgloss.
YBF has successfully given tube lipgloss a good name.
The gloss has a soft, plushy feel with a glossy finish. Although thick this isn’t terribly goopey, tacky, or sticky. It has a weightless finish and give lips a pouty look. Of course, the real joy is that they offer such a great color payoff. A single stroke yields a lovely MLBB (your lips but better) look. All the shades of pink I tried enhance the look of my natural lip look and offer a sheer to medium color payoff depending the amount you layer on. They wear incredibly over stains and lipsticks as well offering sheerer shades of lipstick a little boost.
As I mentioned above I commonly associate glosses in the tube with a sheerer formula so I was pleasantly surprised these packed some nice color.
Overall, YBF Liplights Lip Gloss are a great little gloss formula. If you’re as addicted to gloss as I am you’re sure to love on these. They offer a good deal of color, a comfortable wear, and a super glossy finish. What more could a girl want?
