Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator Review
Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator might seem familiar to you. That’s because I reviewed Dr. Jart All Out Black Head Remover a year or two ago.
Kinda the same concept here.
I’m willing to try ANYTHING to get the stubborn blackheads to stop vacationing on the tip of my nose. Nothing works. Nose strips, gels, treatments…short of burning them off or removing my nose, I think they are here to stay.
Let’s see if the Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator did the trick!
Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator is either going to work very well for you or not. I happen to fall into the not.
This is a one-step treatment that reduces black heads and dissolves debris while controlling excess oil. I find it interesting they say it controls oil because it’s REALLY emollient and leaves my skin quite shiny after use, kinda like I just applied Argan Oil.
It’s formulated to reduce the appearance of blackheads while tightening pores and removing dead skin cells. It’s a peeling style gel with thick consistency.
They market this as being a delicate peel however, I do experience a little warming up and tingling when I apply it so just be aware when using it on sensitive skin.
I don’t have clogged pores or blackheads around my face which is one reason it isn’t quite a product that I’ll make proper use of. Sadly, the ones on my nose that I really wanted to attack didn’t take kindly to this. Or just doesn’t work for deeply embedded blackheads.
On the other hand it should clear out smaller issues and clogged pores if you have them however, that’s just speculation on my part as I don’t have these problems.
I find the entire experience rather like a facial. The thicker gel has an emoillent almost oily texture that really hydrates my dry skin and the warm tingle is rather pleasant. You’ll want to apply it and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes before “rubbing” or massaging it off with your fingers. After, rinse with cool water. Done.
If you’ve never tried a peeling gel it’s simply a matter of the gel congealing somewhat and rolling off in tiny balls as you massage.
After use my skin feels smoother and quite soft but the blackheads on my nose are still hanging ten.
Sigh.
Back to the drawing board.
I’d give it a try if you have larger pores that need a little detoxing, it just make work for you!
