Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara

Fall 2012 brings Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara to the table. Korres has always offered a single mascara that just worked. That was cool with me, sometimes variety can be tiresome. A single product, that just works takes the chore out of too many choices and for me an indecisive type like that’s perfectly fine.

Let’s take a look at the new Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara.

I think I’m contradicting myself in here somewhere. Happy with one mascara, eager to try the new…yeah…def some contradiction!

Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara promises the blackest, black mascara derived from volcanic soil that increases lash volume by 600 percent.

Why do I have visions of space, the final frontier when they go all dramatic like that with volcanic soil. Was it gathered from Mars or something?!

The mascara is formulated with volcanic minerals for the deepest, darkest color and an increase in lash volume. These rich pigments blend with natural film formers to create a flexible, strong coating that lashes. According to Sephora’s details it provides a glossy, luminous finish with a flexible conditioned feel.

Mascara, volcanic mascara, the final frontier.

Do you want to try it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m eager to see what else Korres has in store for Fall ’12 because that means that the Xmas collections can’t be far behind (LOL) and they always have a lip gloss set on offer at a great price!!! I’m still regretting not buying last year’s set! Hope they have some new colors because their lip glosses are fantastic. 🙂

Can you tell that I’m impatient for summer to end? 🙂

I’m ready for fall too! But it’s kind of the same way I’m ready for all the seasons to change. I tire easily of wearing the same trend for a couple of months. And Muse, I know you lurved it, but can we just put tangerine tango to bed now? It’s tired and needs to rest!

    • the Muse

i haven’t really covered too much on tangerine tango since June? 🙂 I agree, can’t wait for Fall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Volcanos (I know you wrote “volcanic materials,” but I prefer to simplify it because I’m an earth science/meteorology nerd) AND a volumizing mascara?! I’m there! I’ll buy any mascara that promises more volume, even though I’ve already found several mascaras that work for me. It’s a sickness (not that I’m seeking a cure lol).

It looks clumpy even in the promo photo! That doesn’t seem like a good sign to me.

i think it looks clumpy to me too, in australia the best mascara to me is ere perez natural almond oil mascara, so glossy and curl defining!

I have not had good luck with any Korres mascara so unless they took care of the raccoon effect I wont be trying it. I will patiently wait for a review 🙂
