L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Gleaming Bronze Review & Swatches
I’m wearing L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Gleaming Bronze today. It was part of the L’Oreal Summer 2012 Collection and could or couldn’t be LE?
Hard to say really as these special displays really never say if a shade or product is limited edition. How irritating right?
As you know from my numerous rants I do have a little bit of a love/hate relationship with these eyeshadows but the formula is such a hit or miss that I feel this absolute need to collect them all.
Let’s see if you need Gleaming Bronze.
Yes! Yes! Get it.
I feel like some of the newer shades L’Oreal has been launching have been considerably more vibrant than the original colors that released. Gleaming Bronze is EVERYTHING I wanted Golden Sage to be.
The name is a little misleading, bronze? It’s actually a golden olive green. This is exactly the formula I had hopes for with the original colors as well. It’s not cakey, has a smooth finish, with a nice metallic edge that’s not too shimmery and not too frosty.
My main issues with Infallible Eyeshadow is the fact they look cakey and have way too much frost. Gleaming Bronze does not suffer these problems. The metallic-ness is gorgeous here and not over done with chunks of glitter plus there is zero frost which is such a relief as I tend to run far and fast from such a finish.
Overall, Gleaming Bronze is a keeper and I’ve considered a possible back up of this one. It’s a gorgeous shade that compliments brown eyes wonderfully well.
I highly suggest grabbing it as I fear it’ll be gone soon!
