MAC Electric Cool Collection

I’m somewhat excited! The MAC Electric Cool Collection launches shortly and much to my delight the Electric Cool Eyeshadows aren’t anything like I expected them to be. I originally thought these would be a new rendition of MAC’s Big Bouncy Eyeshadows but much to my relief they actually look powder?

At a glance I was thinking they resembled L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow but I was a little disappointed to read “high frost” in the details.

Ugh!

*head desk* *hard* *repeat*

I so can’t do frosty shades of shadow.

But some of these shades are calling me particularly the peachy one!

Take a look!

Your new fashion power source. Electrifying pigments fuse with high frost in 12 limited edition shades. From the moment your brush touches the lightweight formula, youll be wired into its sensational blending power. For a multi-dimensional pearly wash, try Superwatt”a shimmering taupe. Amp it up with Highly Chargeds vibrant purple, or shock with Fashion Circuits Kelly green. Its luxe with a hue-rich colour charge…who wouldnt want to be this Electric?

    Are you sure they are powder? I swatched them at my local Nordstrom preview just after July 4 and they are just like the Big Bouncy / paint pot formula. Did they change so quickly? Can you confirm?

      press release says powder formula Bridget but I haven’t seen them in person myself.

    from the images they kinda look like those Chanel Illusion D’ombre… Which would make sense a little considering big bounce was a gel formula and this is powder and the illusion d’ombre are like a gel powder…

    I’m kind of curious about this but I’m afraid it would crease pretty badly on me. I mean, it creased even in the promo picture. o_O;
