MAC Heavenly Creature Cremesheen Glass Review & Swatches

I need more hours in the day to test all of my MAC Heavenly Creatures goodies. So far, the product I’m loving the most from the collection is MAC Heavenly Creature Cremesheen Glass.

I typically don’t love Cremesheen Glass as I’m all about the sparkle but these shades we’re too lovely not to haul.

Check ’em out.

MAC Heavenly Creatures Cremesheen Glass was released in five limited edition shades. All are new shades so no need to worry about running into repromotes.

I find Cremesheen Glasses have a shorter wear and less stickiness than your typical MAC Lipglass. You can probably blame the shorter wear on the thinner consistency and lack of tack but facts is facts I find them lighter and a bit more comfortable to wear because of this. Although larger in size due to the tube packaging they are actually considerably smaller than a Lipglass weighing in at 0.09 oz versus 0.17 oz.

I’m not really sure what you’d want to dub them in terms of finish. They are fairly shiny to me but also have a milky-like look to them. Cremesheens pretty much avoid sparkle and shimmer of any kind which is one reason I don’t navigate towards them but as I mentioned above some of these shades were terribly tempting so I be a convert to Cremesheens when new shades release in the future.

I felt all the shades released with the MAC Heavenly Creature launch had a natural look to them that enhanced the look of your natural lip color outside of Celestial Kiss which was a little more challenging for me to wear since it was a nuder peach beige.

Galaxy Rose and Strictly Plutonic are probably my two favorite shades in this lot although all the shades are worth looking into. Both of these shades had a MLBB look to them on me (my lips but better). The one shade, as I mentioned above, that I couldn’t get to work for me was Celestial Kiss, it just went a little too mod on me.

Overall, the shades of Cremesheen Glass released with Heavenly Creature breath new life into the product for me. I think I’ll be more inclined to explore new shades of Cremesheen in future collections because of these shades. They are all terribly lovely colors that should be universally flattering on many skin tones.
