Come on baby light my fire. I’m lighting my lips up today with NARS Lipstick in Autumn Leaves.
My eclectic taste in music demands I post a video of one of my music gods, Mr. Jim Morrison, who possibly spent a majority of his musical career tripping.
Jim wasn’t privy to a good fiery shade of lipstick in his hay day but thankfully we are.

NARS Lipstick in Autumn Leaves ($24) is part of the NARS Fall 2012 Collection and yes, evoke the spirit of Fall it does.
What a proper name for the shade as this is a burnt fiery shade of orange that resembles the changing leaves in Fall. The color is so very me as I love shades like this for both Fall and Summer as it pairs up wonderfully with a natural eye look and a golden peach on cheeks.
This is a hydrating formula that builds easily for full coverage pay off. The texture of the lipstick is somewhat balm-y in nature and has a hydrating, moisturizing feel throughout the wear. It has a glossy sheen of a finish with a lightweight, comfortable wear.
I absolutely love the shade and highly suggest picking it up. It’ll make a gorgeous addition to your Fall looks. I think it wears easily for an orange shade as well which can sometimes be a bit harsh.

I couldn’t pull off the color either, but it does look great on YOU, Muse. I like the color a lot in the tube and I gotta say…I’m already psyched for fall and summer is OVER for me (must be all the heat waves here in the East) so it’s great to see the fall MU collections! Such a beautiful color!! But the price.. Ouch! Is this simillar to Revlon Abstract Orange? It may not be the best quality around, but at least it doesn’t break the bank…..
