I’m willing to try ANYTHING to get the stubborn blackheads to stop vacationing on the tip of my nose. Nothing works. Nose strips, gels, treatments…short of burning them off or removing my nose, I think they are here to stay.
Let’s see if the Dr. Jart Black Label Detox Pore Penetrator did the trick!
Essence Voluminizing Lash Powder ($1.99) has proven completely out of my reach. I have an Ulta located about, mmmm, an hour away from me? If you’re from New York you probably know the one I mean. The only way I get there is when I head to Woodbury because it’s just too much of a bother just to go there to hit up Ulta.
Ulta carries Essence but anytime I go there I never find cool products like the Voluminizing Lash Powder.
One of the best parts about blogging beauty is you meet and become friends with so many fantastic people. This review wouldn’t be possible without my fellow geeky gamer Cult of Taupe. She gifted me with this recently, completely unexpectedly.
Pantene Aqua Light Weightless Conditioning Shake is a new leave in conditioner mist for hair I recently picked up.
Anyone try this yet?
I typically don’t review hair care products on here because well, I think they are boring as sin. If hair is your bag, brilliant! As for me, I’m all about other beauty products just not hair care…
Are you a hair junkie?
My best friend Jamie hoards and stockpiles an obscene amount of shampoo, mists, sprays, potions, etc…etc…it boggles my mind. But hey, I bet she thinks I’m quite the freak for having 100′s of lipglosses right?
We all have our vices.
I did want something to keep my locks soft and hydrated so I decided to check this out on her rec.
Caress Passionate Spell Body Fine Fragrance Elixir Body Wash and Caress Endless Kiss Silkening Body Wash are two new luxurious budget body washes popping up at drugstores now.
Ok, I admit it, I’m a shower gel hoarder.
Yes. I am.
But you can so afford to be that person who hoards a variety of shower gels at this price. Caress Body Washes are as little as three dollars and fifty cents and offer a little piece of luxury for pennies.
Who doesn’t love a great beauty budget shower gel?
I’m just not a fan of cream lipstick. I find most creams drying and the longer you wear them the more moisture they suck from your lips. When there isn’t anymore moisture to suck out they go for your soul! It’s deadly.
No..but seriously. I also get lip crumbs from cream lipstick. Lip crumbs are those little flaky gross pieces of lipstick that float around your dry mouth. It’s not pretty people.
Too Faced La Creme Lipstick changed how I feel about creams. They’ve managed to create a moisturizing cream formula that looks and feels incredible on lips.
One more sleep until Batman and no my azz is not getting up at 12:01 AM to see it. This is not Harry Potter people, we can wait until Friday night like grown adults (there was some sarcasm in there I’m sure!).
As for me, I wanna see Christian Bale flip out when he’s in the Bat suit. Just go ape $hit. He’s so sexy when he’s Mr Angry Entitled Actor. “I are an actor and I can rip you a new azzhole if I want to!” Go on with your bad self Christian, you know I love you! (Video not work safe, may contain cuss words).
He mentioned he couldn’t cope with the suit when he first tried it on and even thought he might have to reconsider the role because of it. I bet! That thing would give me a severe case of claustrophobia. Danai Gurira did a plaster for Michonne which was displayed at Comic Con (you could step into a “pets” role and take a photo with her) and I can’t help but admire celebrities for going to such extremes. At least with the bat suit they aren’t pouring plaster over your head and giving you two straws to breath out of.
I’m cheap. Not really but when it comes to makeup remover I am terribly cheap. I think nothing at all of splurging $50 on a blush but tell me to spend $27 on 4.2 oz of makeup remover and I start to sob like a baby, “Mommy it hurts so BAD!”
I think I have this mentality that I can buy a new eyeshadow palette or a lipstick and maybe a gloss with that near $30 price tag. Ouch!!!!!!!!!!
This $28 palette features a slick little face plate that could get your blood pressure way up. Who doesn’t love brilliant packaging? Housing 10 shimmering shades of nude shadow, a brush for application, and an eyeliner pencil plus a how to get the look guide this one seemed like a hot pick for Fall.
I was sitting with my friend last night and he turned to me and said, “Summer feels over…” WHAT?! Dude…what do you mean?
I guess in a way he’s right. Particularly since the whisper of Holiday Collections is already on the horizon. Le sigh.
But never fear, rejoice in Summer joy with a little Avon Hawaiian Shores Eau de Toilette Spray. It’s so not going to make you feel like Hawaii, for that you need to grab your bikini and hop a plane but it does feel like a warm hug.
YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation is inspired by YSL’s best selling cult favorite, Touche Éclat. Don’t panic, but, I’ve never actually been a big Touche Éclat fan girl, I’m mot a Dior Booster Pen.
However, I have tried it, I do own it, and I reach for it from time to time and I generally like the idea of this formula in a foundation. Touche Éclat is creamy and really does diminish darkness so perhaps Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation will prove just as brilliant.
As rather big fan of Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner I feel every so slightly guilty of cheating on Bobbi but facts if facts, Lorac, you have the better formula.
Being as goofy as I am with liquid liner I do find gel eyeliner considerably easier to work with. But as you probably noticed in many of my posts I leave off eyeliner from many of my looks. Reason? I feel a little over done lining my upper lash line…!
Anyone have that feeling? I just can’t work the look. So when I do use gel eyeliner I tend to go with a VERY, very nude eye look but today I got a little daring. I was testing out Gleaming Bronze so I paired it up with a little Lorac Pro Cream Eyeliner and yes, it pops but it might be too much. You’ve been warned.
