Pantene Aqua Light Weightless Conditioning Shake Review

Pantene Aqua Light Weightless Conditioning Shake is a new leave in conditioner mist for hair I recently picked up.

Anyone try this yet?

I typically don’t review hair care products on here because well, I think they are boring as sin. If hair is your bag, brilliant! As for me, I’m all about other beauty products just not hair care…

Are you a hair junkie?

My best friend Jamie hoards and stockpiles an obscene amount of shampoo, mists, sprays, potions, etc…etc…it boggles my mind. But hey, I bet she thinks I’m quite the freak for having 100’s of lipglosses right?

We all have our vices.

I did want something to keep my locks soft and hydrated so I decided to check this out on her rec.

Let’s take a look!

Pantene Aqua Light Weightless Conditioning Shake is a lightweight leave in conditioning mist. You simply mist this on damp hair, comb out, and style.

It’s a very light formula so it doesn’t leave hair stiff or crunchy. The mist has a bi-phase like look to it so it has to be shaken up prior to use. In my experience with it, it does provide nice moisture and leaves hair feeling soft and silky. The best results I get are if I leave my hair damp and let it air dry with this misted on.

It’s supposed to keep hair soft and silky during a dry but my hair is SO long and wavy that I didn’t feel like it did much when I applied heat.

It has a subtle refreshing scent that’s quite pleasant but it doesn’t linger long.

Overall, Pantene Aqua Light Weightless Conditioning Shake is something I enjoy using in the evening after a shower on my way to bed as I typically let my hair air dry. It leaves hair smooth and silky used in this fashion. I liked it well enough but not sure I can get terribly excited about a conditioning mist.

Now if it was an eyeshadow palette that would be another story!

Tried it?

Do share!

Any conditioning mists you love using?

I kinda wish Lush would do one!

I purchased this item.

I’m the same way. Hair products are way boring to me, but hey, we gotta have ’em 🙂

  • Rachel

I am not too into hair care products either. lol. But this one would be good for me since I always skip conditioner and serum.

Not a huge fan of the Pantene fragrance, but Garnier makes a bi-phase one that I like and Aveeno too. Nice fragrance and helps keeps my ends from drying out. I like to use the Aveeno one on my scalp since it gets do dry after I shampoo.

Sounds ok. I actually am in love with Black 15 in 1 Miracle hair treatment. It’s a spray in that has all kinds of fun benefits, including heat protectant, uv protectant, conditioning etc. I love a good spray that multi-tasks.

I am not big on hair stuff either, but I do have a couple of Japanese ones that I love from Lucido-L :). I have a mist and a serum/creme that are leave-in conditioners. I like to use the serum/creme when I just come out of a shower and the spray on dry hair. I also have my hair styling “milk” from them too, which is light, but I want to try something with a bit more hold to it.

hey tammie, I enjoy Japanese hair care as well, I love their fragrance mists for hairs ;D! almost every single brand does one ;D!

I’m a Ichikami haircare line junkie (Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask, Intense Treatment, Setting Wave Jelly, Serum), but have been looking for a more easily obtainable. I have been using the Aveeno spray leave-in treatment since I like Aveeno lotions. I will take a look at this next!

LOL! That’s just how I feel about hair care–the formulas of hair care products are all so similar that I really can’t get excited about it.I love that your blog is very focused on cosmetics and a little skin care.

    • the Muse

caitlin, def relate, all about color here ;-D and pepper it with a few skin care goodies but hair and nails I’m not so into ;D!

  • Cj

See I have it really bad. I obsess over makeup, hair, skincare, clothes, and tech. I have no idea how I’m not broke yet lmao

    • the Muse

you have no idea…makeup, manga, comics, tech, shoes, purses, action fissures…ya, it’s really weird to admit all this lol! I’m about to indulge in a new gaming box ;-D and thinking of getting an all in one to replace my desktop box mmm!

      • Cj

Omg lol. You are the only person I know, I can talk to about makeup, tech, and fanfiction. I’ve decided we should get married. Lmao!

Ooh looking at any all in ones in specific? I haven’t went on my desktop comp in like a while lol, ever since I got my new lappie 😀 speaking of which, I just ordered new ram and a $300 ssd for it. Someone needs to hide my debit card lol

        • the Muse

LOL! really? You’ve no idea how HAPPY I’d be with a fabulously gay husband! Yes please! You have my heart <3! You are very bad ;-D well, I have to admit, I really wanna do away with the clutter and I have my eye on the new 27 inch dell all in one. Nice HD screen, no box to worry about. Just simple and clean. I was thinking it could replace my current xps....BUT I'm tempted to do away with my mac pro and get an imac to replace it, even better. So it's a toss up. I don't really want to replace my mac pro though just my current xps.

As for the gaming box looking at Aurora. It's a monster but that's fine as my current gaming box is set up in a large area.

yeah so that was long and confusing and shows I can't make up my mind....

let's talk marriage again. If we got married and god forbid you met mr fabulous and wanted to leave me I think we'd need a pre nup as I don't want to fight over our makeup stashes....you might try to screw me out of good LE pieces...! ;-D lol!

          • Cj

Wow decisions decisions we are so alike it’s crazy I do the same thing when I wanna get a new laptop or comp lol. How about keeping the pro and getting an iMac to replace the xps? That might be too expensive tho lol I know them iMacs are costly.

Oh know your onto me!! I just wanted to get my grubby hands on your LE items :X!! Nahh it’ll be like an open marraige, you’ll be able to go and find some hunky manly man and me the cleaner cut guys, then switch on weekends lmao! Think about the tax breaks we’d get if we were married! MOAR MAKEUP FOR US! Lol

          • the Muse

            lol ;-D

mmmm I wanna do that. Ideally I’d love to do away with winblows completely haha! so I’d love to just get the imac ugh choices choices ;-D

haha…! perfect! I love the switch on weekends btw! ;-D!!!!!!!!! variety! lmao! yeah, the makeup would be our kids. you crack me up cj! stay beautiful 🙂

  • Caitlin

You can include me in the geeking out and tech love. I have ZERO overlap between my geeky friends and my make-up peeps, so I crave this connection all the time. I am actually a LARPer (don’t judge), and I STILL have no geek friends into makeup! How is that possible? Make-up is like cosplay for everyday! It means I get to role-play being a lot more glamorous and organized than I actually am…

    • the Muse

what sorts of LARPer action are you in on Caitlin? Only done ORPG, on MIRC if you can believe it ;-D a few hundred years ago…ahh those were the days. the underbelly of the internet ;-D

  • Butterdaisy

oooh I have to try this! Have not seen it until now and I’m all about moisture for my hair. Leave in conditioners and deep conditioner masks are my faves. Thx for sharing.

  • Avalith

Im always on the look out for mists like this! All the ones I have are either not good enough or they smell like men’s cologne.
