Skin Food Royal Honey Density Concealer Review & Swatches

Skin Food Royal Honey Density Concealer is a branch off concealer launched along with the Skin Food Royal Honey Skincare Collection.

Skin Food actually has a BB Cream Stick in this collection as well which I’ve been meaning to pick up and try.

I’m not sure when the Royal Honey line launched but it’s fairly new. I haven’t indulged myself as of yet but was curious, of course, about the concealer.

Have a look!

This a tiny somewhat cheap looking plastic case with a flip top lid that houses a concealer duo. It has a mirror inside as well as a fairly decent brush for spot application.

I want to say that this will probably be an excellent spot concealer for areas on your face but I haven’t tried it. I don’t typically use concealer on my face however, I think this would prove better on the facial area than on eyes. It has a certain sticky stiffness that should work best on the face.

For something dubbed “royal honey” I expected far more moisture. The shade kit features two concealers with pinkish yellow undertones. You can use either together or separate.

I opted for under my eyes and sadly, this was a fail. I think the texture is more suitable on my face. Under my eyes it’s a bit too heavy, blends poorly, and creases very badly.

If you’re looking for something to conceal smaller issues on your face I would recommend it but indulging it as an under eye concealer, as I did, would be a mistake. Sadly, this wasn’t meant for drier eyes, perhaps oily eyes would see better results.

Not a great concealer for what I’m looking for.

I had a friend in Korea pick it up for me but E-bay as well as Sasa.com and Imomoko.com carry the Skin Food line.

Tried it?

I purchased this item.

I think I need a friend in Korea too haha.

Actually my brother-in-law is going to be stationed there soonish, my husband says he might be able to pick stuff up for me which would be nice…but I dunno, he’s a guy so I am not sure he’ll be so willing to go to the shops…especially like Etude House or Holika Holika haha.

ha still it’s someone in korea plus he can make use of the us postal service to get packages to you SUPER fast and SUPER cheap!!!!!!!!

      • Tammie

Very true, as it is now it takes something like 2 weeks to get anything from Korea, I am sure if he sends it from base it’ll come much faster.

Lets cross our fingers and hope he gets assigned there haha 🙂

more like two days from base PO. I had a friend in Japan who’s BF was in the military. She used to ship me stuff via the post at the base and bam it was here before I blinked! plus it’s just as cheap as if you’re shipping in the US ;-D hehe I’m keeping my toes and legs and fingers crossed for you!

I prefer liquid concealer for blemishes, but, despite the cheapness of the plastic, I think the case on this is cute!

Skinfood is always so gimmicky, cute and appealing – I’ve always got my finger hovering over the “buy it now” button on ebay………till I read a review and slowly back away. Thanks for taking that bullet Muse!

Too bad it didn’t do well. And yeah, it does look a bit cheap… I wouldn’t be drawn to this, looking at the case.
