The Body Shop Body Mist Review

The Body Ship Satsuma Body Mist ($12 Each) is one of several new scented fragrances from the Body Shop.

I haven’t been following The Body Shop closely lately so I was kinda surprised and delighted when I came across these body mists while out on a shopping date with some friends. These are available in 3.3 oz glass spritzer bottles in a range of eight scents. Most of the scents are old favorites from the Body Shop like Satsuma and Strawberry.

I commonly associate the scent of Satsuma with the Body Shop. They always have the oil burning in the store and it’s the first thing that hits you in the face when you walk in. It’s a scent that has always been readily available in the body collection but never as a fragrance.

Obviously I snatched it up immediately.

Take a look!

These are fabulous. My friends picked up Vanilla and Coconut which are both gorgeous. I was only interested in Satsuma to be honest as it’s always been such a bright, happy scent but very limited since the Body Shop has only done it in body products.

It’s nice some of their classic scents are now available in a fragrance mist. Lucky enough the scent hasn’t morphed in this format as you know fragrances go a little different when they are turned into a mist or perfume. But the Body Shop successfully captured Satsuma brilliantly. You get that crisp bitter edge of citrus mixed with the juicy, succulence of orange and clementine.

The mist is strong at first spritz but dries down to sweet, mellow sunshine. It has a three hour wear time before needing a touch up.

I wanted a longer wear time but overall for $12 I’m quite loving these body mists and will indulge in a few more. And of course, you always have the option to layer now!

Loves!

I have the coconut one, but as much as I love coconut, I think the scent is a bit too overpowering in this body mist. Everyone goes like: “Woah, coconut!” around me, and that’s not a good thing, lol. I love body mists, though, so I’ll definitely try another scent. Maybe Satsuma!

I didn’t get that but than again I didn’t try it on Kiss and Makeup! it was more milky and creamy ;-D I think Satsuma is bright like that but it dries down very mellow ;D

I have Satsuma too!!! I love how it instantly perks up an otherwise gloomy day… 🙂

I like satsuma but it changes on me. I want the strawberry and maybe chocomania. Imagine smelling like chocolate dipped strawberries. YUM!

Satsuma smells so amazing! I remember when it first came out and I bought everything they had, including those dreadful bath beads they used to have.

I love the Satsuma butter. I tried the mist but did not like it after it dried down =(
