Yves Saint Laurent YSL Contemporary Amazon Fall 2012

Someone speak to the government because this 4th of July rubbish mid-week is so not cool. We should have the entire week off, just sayin’!

My azz is draggings!

I’m blasting Rush as I work today, maybe it’ll wake me up.

Plus looking at YSL Fall 2012 is always a good way to get my eyes wide open.

Yves Saint Laurent Contemporary Amazon Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara $30
Luxurious mascara for a false lash effect now available in a new limited edition shade, No. 19 Graphite Green. The award-winning, volumizing mascara achieves a dramatic result in a single stroke. The secret is the triple-film complex. A coating film for intensity, a conditioning film with pro-vitamin B5 and aloe vera for curves and a fixing film with vinyl polymer for long-lasting effectiveness. The brush applicator combines nylon fibers of varying diameters for volume enhancement, as never before seen.

Yves Saint Laurent Dare to Glow Illuminator $28
A silky complexion illuminator, between a highlighter and an enhancer, Dare to Glow is an essential for women seeking that gorgeous glow. The melting, ultra-fresh gel texture leaves skin soft and comfortable. Enriched with optical mother-of-pearl particles, Dare to Glow forms an impalpable veil for a natural-looking shimmer on the skin.

Absolutely feeling the love for a matte shade of orange that I have to have my head examined to try.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow. I dig the eyeshadow quad. It screams smokey eyes to me.

Rouge Expressioniste looks fantastic but that promo shot is horrible! what were they thinking?

    Mid-week Independence Day is stinky.

This collection is not really my cup of tea. I’d love to hear what people think of the illuminator though. I also heard something about a Touche Eclat inpsired foundation coming to the US soon.

YSL lost me with the inclusion of Polyethylene terephthalate in their pur couture vernis. Why did they betray my trust? This is why LUSH will get even more of my business!
