B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Bashful Blusher Spotlight
I’m back…with more B Never. Today I thought I’d spotlight some of the long gone B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Bashful Blushers I still have.
Unlike the eyeshadow palette I recently featured from B Never the Bashful Blushers have not really held up well.
Let’s take a look!
B Never is coming into my spotlight lately since Lush released their new makeup collection, Emotional Brilliance.
I collected a good deal of B Never back in 2005-2006. Some of my products were purchased during a trip in London, others were purchased on the B Never site which shipped to the US, and still others were gifted to me as Christmas gifts from a variety of British friends.
Someone commented on my B Never Eyeshadow post and mentioned inconsistencies with the formula being an issue with B. And I must agree. Bashful Blusher is an example of this. Where as I generally liked the eyeshadow range, I always felt the blush range was lacking. It’s as if Big created them all his own with absolutely no input from Mo. Because honestly I can picture him sitting around thinking that a muddy shade of brown blush would be SUPER great…ha…!
I always felt like the shades were all incredibly disappointing. It was either too bright a pink or too muddy a shade of brown. The formula was also terribly chalky due to the lack of preservatives in the mix and the line trying their hardest to remain Vegan.
Although as you can see the packaging is incredible isn’t it?
It’s one reason I’ve kept this in my stash. They are utter unusable as this point since they expired in 2008 (one of these was made in 2005 with an expiration date marked 2008) but I can’t bare to purge my beauty vault of them.
I do miss B Never awfully.
I hope you enjoyed the spotlight!
I’d love to hear your thoughts or memories of B Never if you have any.
