Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil Review

I’m sure you’ve heard about Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil by now. Although I love dabbling with many a cleansing oil I must say I always come back to Fancl. It’s simple and in that simplicity I find perfection.

Take a look!

I’ve been using this for positively ages. I was introduced to it the first time I visited Japan and I’ve since, embarrassingly enough, collected many, many of the LE editions released. Fancl releases it in a variety of cute LE bottles from time to time and I’ve collected too many to count. I may just yet do a post showing you those bottles but that’s for another day.

So what’s so great about it?

Nothing really.

No bells, no whistles, no amazing anti-aging formula, no incredible brightening/whitening abilities, nothing….it’s just cleansing oil and that’s it.

It’s the perfect deep cleansing oil. The texture runs a little thicker than my typical cleansing oil picks but it emulsifies easily enough and really offers a deep down clean. The thing that’s fantastic about it is the fact it never over strips my skin and after use I’m always left soft and smooth never tight or dry. Some cleansing oils, yes, Shu, I mean you, leave my skin feeling a bit dry and tight after use. I never have a hiccup with Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil. Many, many users absolutely love it because its so very gentle yet highly effective at removing light or heavier makeup even waterproof mascara.

If you’re sensitive, or dry, or oily, it doesn’t matter, this is a cleansing oil keeper you absolutely need in your stash. Chances are, as any good beauty junkie, you’ll wander away and try other cleansing oils but once you try Fancl you’ll always come back to it and realize it is the supreme pick for cleansing oil goodness.

You NEED this.

Muse Approved for purchase.

AlphabeautyUK carries it on Ebay as well as Imomoko.com

This is one oil I’ve yet to try. Rave reviews on makeup alley and now here, lol! Which of the two sources you listed would be the most secure place to purchase from? Thanks!

both are excellent sources melinda, I wouldn’t put them up if I hadn’t shopped from them myself 🙂

I’m wary of using anything with the word “oil” in the name when I have such oily skin!

I’ve been using the Mac one for a while now, it isn’t thick like the dhc but I still like it 🙂

I love dhc cleansing oil but definitely want to try this one. Thx for letting us know where to find it.

I tried all four Shu ones and I love the Shu pink cleansing oil. I find that the pink Shu is lighter than the rest. Havent tried the Fancl one though.. Maybe I’ll check it out when I’m out.

how does it compare to the DHC deep cleansing oil? The DHC one is my holy grail but I’m always interested in something new (:

I’ve been using Fancl cleansing oil for years. I’ve also tried DHC cleansing oil. Fancl is a non-additive formula, suitable for all skin types. I like its natural smell as well. Since it’s a non-additive formula once it’s opened you have to use it up within three months.

I have dry, sensitive skin too and many cleansing oils leave my skin dry and tight after use, especially those with citrus fragrances. I love Fancl, L’Occitane, and the new Burt’s Bees Cleansing Oil. My bottle of Fancl doesn’t smell like anything which is great. The L’Occitane and the Burt’s Bees have a light scent which hasn’t bothered my skin.
