Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream

Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream is the latest BB Cream to launch in the US. I’m not terribly familiar with the Hydroxatone brand to be honest but I thought it interesting they have launched a BB Cream.

Let’s have a look!

Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream ($39) is available in three shades and acts as an all in one skincare and beauty solution.

The interesting thing about this BB Cream is the SPF 40. So far, many of the BB Creams we’ve seen launch in the US have had rather low levels of protection. I’m liking the fact this has a higher level of protection that allows us to stay outside for longer without worrying about a touch up.

It also promises to reduce the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles while firming and lifting skin. It contains a potent antioxidant to reduce free radical damage and evens out skin tone so it appears brighter with an active Vitamin C and a advanced encapsulated peptide. The Vitamin C compound supposedly stimulates collagen used during the skin’s own regenerative process.

Benefits:

  • Vitamin C: Support optimal skin health by promoting the skin’s own regenerative properties help stimulate collagen used during the skin’s own regenerative process
  • PhytoCellTec: Formulated with an ingredient that help skin stem cells maintain their natural renewal capacity
  • PhytoCellTec & EMortal: Formulated with ingredients that increase the vitality of the skins’ stem cells.
  • Contains ingredients that support the natural renewal process of the skin
  • SPF 40: SPF 40 Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protects the skin from the elements including harmful UV rays and oxidative stress

Sounds pretty amazing doesn’t it?

This is more like a BB Cream because as you know I’ve been terribly disappointed with the versions we’ve had to contend with here in the US.

I think I’ll be indulging.

What do you think?

A little old lady at the post office recognized what it was, does this mean we are old or are there senior geeks out there? LOL! Aw thanks, she got here safe and sound last night. A little jet lagged but a ok. She’s actually shopping until she drops at the moment ;-D I’m at work so won’t see her until tonight, god help us, she’ll need another suitcase to get home I’m sure!

Life is good. May have big news to tell next week, but we shall see. We are not old, we’re vintage. If we were Voltron we’d be a collectors item. (Dibs on the green lion) There are just awesome senior geeks out in the world. :-p I can’t blame her for cramming in a bunch of shopping. If I were in her country I’d be doing the exact same thing. 😀

I love her but she’s worst than me!

haha funny story about Hydroxatone, my dad has pretty bad dark circles.
One day we see this blue bottle (Hydroxatone) in the bathroom. He literally was suckered into the “free eye cream” advert and bought it himself. LOL of course it didn’t work and after the “free” bottle he got charged like 90 dollars so he called them and said the cream was making his face burn and he didn’t get charged.

After that fiasco My twin sis and I bought him a nice eye cream from sephora… he never uses it. 🙁

LOL awwwww love your dad went and purchased eye cream! haha! he was probably scared to use it after that lol!

    Hi!

I’ve been reading quite a few of your BB cream reviews now and it seems like the products disappoints.

So I was wondering if you have 1) an absolute favorite BB cream, what brand it is (be it Asian or US available, will try to search online for asian BB creams to see if they can ship it to US…), 2) a good BB cream that is available in US regardless of price, 3) a good drug store BB cream available in US).

    Thank You!
