Juice Beauty: “Best BB Cream not called a BB Cream”

Sigh.

“Best BB Cream not called a BB Cream”? Seriously?

Really?

What does that even MEAN!?

So it’s a tinted moisturizer but Spry magazine though a snappy little headline would be “Best BB Cream not called a BB Cream”?

Someone save me from all da crazy.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I seriously thought I would be excited for BB creams to make a US debut. I was so, so wrong. BBs are all hyped up now, and most of them suck, formula-wise.

*smacks forehead* oi, this idiocy almost makes me wish that they never heard about BB cream. if i was a BB cream i would feel insulted lol

  • Jen

Maybe they are, like you, suffering from ‘western BBs suck’ syndrome. And they feel this product is more of an Asian BB cream than the ones currently on the western market?

    • Al

      Ugh. I second that.

Makes us ‘westerners’ look so damn stupid…

      *le sigh*

  • Cj

At least they didn’t do what cover girl did and just rename their TM a BB lol!

  • Jen

Gosh darnnit muse! I’m just trynna make some kinda sense of this, cut me some slack! Lol

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost snorted water out of my nose just now lol! was mid sip! ;-D I was actually sitting here and trying to figure out exactly what you had said because it sounded a little too technical, I’m still half asleep, I’ll be up when the 5pm whistle blows LOL! heart you HARD right now ;D!

Uhh….well….at first I was mildly interested that they offer a colour pale (probably) for us redheads…but if it’s just tinted moisturizer, isn’t “sheer” just….moisturizer?

  • Tammie

All the “BB Creams” are TMs anyway so this doesn’t surprise me too much.

    • blue

i disagree with that, respectfully of course. 🙂 unless you meant all the “western bb creams” are TMs, which i totally agree on. i’ve used asian bb creams that have full coverage, like a foundation, and no TM is like that. that aspect alone is different from TM’s. maybe you haven’t come across one that’s different from the TM’s you’ve used before? which bb creams have you tried so far?

  • Jason

This product is BEYOND bogus… it really does suck.
I’ve tried it on at Ulta and it dries like mud dries. I refuse to sell this…

oh god…. whoever came up with that snappy one liner should be transferred into editing or something.. :/
