About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. So beyond excited for this collection! The brow pencil looks absolutely perfect for my black brows. And the pallets are perfection!

I seem to recall reading awhile back something about the Good Luck Star…I think it is suppose to be a stencil of some sort. Maybe a star or two around the eyes?
The Lipstick is definitely catching my attention…but not much else from this collection.

    • the Muse

AHHH! that makes sense, they look like sponges right!? I can’t do the lipstick sadly, too nude!

  • Cj

Eh nothing is really jumpin out at me, I do really like the packaging tho, very simple and elegant. If anything I’ll pick up the undercover nude nail polish.

    • Cindy

Agreed. The packaging is very sleek and sexy, but not so much the products inside them.

  • K.B.

HUGE letdown. I was so excited for this collection and the Style Seeker collection, and both ended up being one big NO.

At least this way I’ll have more money to spend during Sephora’s Friends and Family Sale. How’s THAT for a silver lining that isn’t really a silver lining because my bank account would love nothing more than for me and Sephora to break up.

Dear Muse, I picked up my cell to delete all the emails- YOU! LoL I think this was the third email in the list and I got so distracted I don’t have time now. Ha

I actually think this is a great line up if you are new to the smokey eye. Sadly if you have even one Kat Von D palette or either of UDs nakeds you’re set.

Tip: easiest smokey eye I ever saw was:
Black liner on top and bottom
a little Dk grey or black shadow on lid and under lower lashes
Bronzer or a bronze/brown in crease
Touch of lighter color on brow bone

It was a magazine video and the look was complete in 5 minutes.

lol sorries! that’s true…there are very similiar shade. thanks for the tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
