MAC Styleseeker Blush Review & Swatches
MAC Styleseeker seems a diamond in rough. I loved the lipglasses from this collection. Please tell me you hauled them?
The MAC Styleseeker Blush in Hidden Treasure and Subcontinental are both worthy of your time as well!
Take a look!
The MAC Styleseeker Collection launches with three shades of blush, I received two to try out. This seems like terribly old news since the collection has been out two weeks or so now but I was on holiday during the launch. Apologies for the delay!
MAC Hidden Treasure Blush has a satin finish that feels semi-matte to me. Could be the lack of shimmer or sparkle. The color is a dark, rusty red that comes across as a warmer orange-y red on my cheeks. The greatness of the product is in the fact that it can be used on medium to darker skin tones thanks to the excellent color pay off and the unique shade itself. If you use it with a very light hand it can produce a very pretty glow. I wouldn’t recommend it for those that have redness on their cheeks or face. However, it’ll pop beautifully on darker skin tones and medium ones.
MAC Supercontinental Blush is a soft shade of coral sans shimmer or sparkle. Color is very true to what you see in the compact, it’s a soft kiss of coral that will prove a universally flattering shade on lighter to medium skin tones. It does look chalky in formula but has a lovely satin finish that blends super easily. I find it builds quite easily as well for better vibrancy and more pop!
Both of these shades are shimmer-free which will make them highly appealing to those who hate the finish. As one who likes shimmer, I’m delighted to say I actually loved these.
I’d recommend checking them out on counter, I think you’ll like them as much as I did.
