Missha The Style Perfect Concealer Review & Swatches

Here’s a little love for Missha and their Style Perfect Concealer! If you aren’t loving Missha Signature Extreme Cover Concealer and find it a little TOO thick for your taste I do so suggest you check out the Style Perfect Concealer.

This is a thinner consistency with a nice hydrating formula and a tasty little budget price of $5.99.

Missha The Style Perfect Concealer is available in two shades selections however, I find that the colors are so similiar sometimes you don’t have to really worry over them. In my experience their concealers run on the peachy or yellow side. Style Perfect Concealer runs on the peachy beige side that should suit medium to medium fair complexions. It may work on tanned complexions ranging at around NC35-40 but I’m not a super expert on MAC colors so take that with a grain of salt.

The peach is an excellent way to not only conceal but diffuse the look of dark circles. This is a thinner consistency concealer with a nice tacky feel and an emollient finish. I have drier eyes and I had absolutely no issues with it fading or creasing when I prepped properly.

It blends out beautifully for a nice airbrushed finish and remains in place all day looking as fresh as when I originally applied it.

I heart this one.

Overall, this is worth a haul if you’re stocking up on your favorite BB Creams from Missha or doing an order. I def do Muse Approve it for purchase as it’s an excellent concealer all around. I wouldn’t say it’s something I can’t live without but it is a fairly good concealer at a VERY reasonable price. The downside is definitely the lack of shades…Missha is an Asian beauty brand so they def stick the two shade rule unfortunately!

    Sounds interesting. I’d probably pick this up when I finally get to convince myself to pick up some concealer. My itchy eyes hinders me from using anything except eye cream. 🙁

    Concealer-related question. I’ve found a concealer I love but it fades without a primer in hot weather. Should I use an eye primer (like the one from Urban Decay), an eye cream, a face primer, a powder, or switch to a different concealer when the weather’s bad?

      it depends cat. different eye types need different attention. I’m not an expert but I’m spent the last several years (since my eyes started to slowly age) trying to perfect good concealing habits. I think I’m finally comfortable with my regime…! For a long time I avoided powder under my eyes because it aged me terribly due to dryness! I also felt like my concealer was caking, creasing and just not lasting…finally finally I think I have things down ;D

      I have drier eyes and this is basically what I do to set so it wears all day but keep in mind for oily eyes it’ll probably be utterly different.

      Eye cream, patted gently in place, preferably something light for daily use if you’re in the summer season and something a little richer for winter. Depending how my eyes are doing that day I proceed to get dressed to allow the eye cream to set and follow up with smashbox hydrating eye primer or mally eye primer (both meant for priming eyes prior to concealer but not meant for eyeshadow priming). If my eye cream is enough I skip this part.

      I smooth a little clarins instant smooth or revlon photo finish primer under my eye prior to concealer to have a smooth, working canvas for my concealer. I follow up by brushing my concealer under my eyes with my elf studio concealer brush (HG get one!).

      After this I do the rest of my makeup and set the concealer at the very end of my makeup application with Skin Food Salmon Brightening Powder. I sweep this on with a Bobbi Brown blending brush. This sets it for all day wear.

      Done.

      Smooth, natural finish almost airbrushed and it doesn’t need any touch ups throughout the day.

      This is what works for me but like I said if you have oily lids you might have to powder a bit more to get it to last longer 🙂 clarins instant smooth is a life saving for creating a smooth canvas for the concealer and creates a nice barrier between your skin and the concealer so it’ll last longer.

    I just got this last month too! It’s much cheaper for me to get it from Gmarket/Qoo10, and I got it for SGD$2.90. I was a little sceptical about the cheap price but wow, it does conceal pretty decently. 😀

    Just wanna ask, are there any major differences between this and Skin Food’s Salmon dark circle concealer? I was eyeing that Salmon concealer as well, thinking to purchase it after I’m done with this. Which one would you recommend?

      I really like skin for dark circle concealer but it’s more emollient than this, good for dry skin, both are excellent concealers, although the skin food one has more coverage, this is sheerer in comparison.

    I have this and I actually bought 2 by accident some how. I really like it. I don’t get terribly dark circles all the time. So for a non-dark day this works really nice and it blends with my other base make up. I also like that it doesn’t settle in the fine lines around my eyes.

    I bought this concealer after I read this review! I love the texture and how smoothly it goes on, but I’m having a little bit of trouble with the shades.

    For Missha’s Perfect Cover BB cream, I’m a bit too dark for #23 (natural beige) and a bit too light for #27 (honey beige), so I mix those both together and it’s perfect.

    So, when I bought these concealers I decided to go with #23, but I found it to be a tad too dark? Lol! You said that these shades are pretty similar, how much lighter would you say #21 is?
