NARS Andy Warhol Pop Collection Sephora Collaboration

Phew the NARS Andy Warhol Collection is massive isn’t it? The color collection, the Silver Factory, and now the Pop Collection which is an exclusive collaboration between NARS and Sephora.

Loving it?

Take a look!

In an exclusive collaboration, NARS and Sephora go bold, bright, and POP with Andy Warhol!

Andy said: “Pop art is about liking things.” Like flowers. Soap. Money. Celebrities. Warhol loved silk screens because if you get the picture right, you can make more just the same. But in a range of colors – something different every time. Andy said, “I use mostly artificial color.” If youre not trying to be real you dont have to get it right. Thats art.

NARS Debbie Harry Eye & Cheek Palette $65
Debbie Harry was Andys pal – the pop star and the pop artist. Debbie was thrilled to be painted by him because it meant she was as famous as Liz and Marilyn. A Warhol portrait was like the best makeover – looking great in all different colors. Inspired by Warhols use of “Diamond Dust,” the palettes colors sparkle with glitter and Diamond Powder, made of real micronized diamonds.

Palette includes:
Eyeshadows:

  • White shimmer
  • Sparkling turquoise
  • Starry black
  • Twinkling purple

Blush:

  • Brilliant Cream
  • Shimmering Pink Champagne

NARS Andy Warhol Kiss Gift Set Larger Than Life Lipgloss $55
Warhol made paintings of iconic people and he made ordinary things iconic, like flowers, soup, and lips. His paintings were pop themes and their bright, electric colors popped off the walls.

Presented in a keepsake soup can, the gift set includes:

  • Silver Factory (aluminum)
  • Drella (ultra-sheer hot pink)
  • Chelsea Girls (innocent, flesh-toned beige)
  • Blue Movie (pink sherbet)
  • Myths (rosy pink)

NARS Walk on the Wild Side Gift Set $39
In 1964 Andy painted flowers because he wanted to make something pretty. Decades later they still look fresh, popping out of any background like a pretty face.

The gift set includes:

  • Silver Factory Illuminator (aluminum)
  • It Nail Polish (black violet)
  • Orgasm Larger Than Life Lipgloss (peachy pink with golden shimmer)

The NARS Andy Warhol Pop Collection will be available exclusively at Sephora and sephora.com on October 1st.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve been lusting over the eye & cheek pallette since Christine posted them! I haven’t tried any of the NARS shadows, that looks like as good of a chance as any to get some.
And if they have these at my store during the f&f sale, i’ll probably get one of the flower palettes.

ok, not going to lie some of the things look cute (like the debby harry palette) but from my experiences with Nars its hit or miss, …… I do like the idea of a silver illuminator.

eh I doubt think I would buy, (seeing as how I got birthday money and then bought the Guerlain Pucci meteorites) but it will be fun to see swatches!! 😉

I’ve been wanting Chelsea Girls for a while but I usually find myself not using glosses that come in pots as much as I should so I haven’t shelled the money out to buy it – I just feel like it gets gross after a while – I’m weird. Now that it’s in a tube gloss form I may have to look into it. Hopefully the other colors that come with it are worth the $55!
P.S. One of the workers at Sephora told me last week that word is they may come out with a spiffy 1000 point perk around the holiday! It’s not confirmed yet, but she expressed it is very likely!

I’m the same way, Brooke…not much of a “gloss-in-the-pot” user….lol….thanks for the info about the 1000 point perk, that would be dreamy!

  • Tigress

I love Debbie Harry! Not enough to buy the palette, but that’s awesome!

  • Al

Wow! I’m just amazed by how gorgeous this entire collection is. I’d be thrilled with almost any one of these sets. The lip gloss set is beautiful and that palette is lovely.

What about you, Muse? Is there anything in particular that’s caught your eye?

    • the Muse

  • Cindy
