The Body Shop All-In-One Blusher Review & Swatches

The Body Shop All-In-One Blusher $16 is a newly launched blush available in eight shades. Don’t quote me but I believe these will take over the current blush line.

Allow me to rant for a moment if you will….

Ouch on the $16 dollars.

I don’t mind dishing that much for a mid-range brand but a little shave off of the price wouldn’t hurt Body Shop. Although they do offer a BOGO if you buy two that will slash the price per blush down to $12 each. But I really don’t want to be forced into a two blush purchase….

Is it worth $16?

Naaa not really.

No offense Body Shop but that’s just too high a price. I grabbed this on a whim since I purchased the new Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream with a Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off. That kinda kept the price at somewhat affordable.

However, I can’t help but think to myself I could either splurge on a higher end blush at Sephora or get something equally as nice at the drugstore.

I picked up the shade Flushed which is a golden peach with gold shimmer. The shimmer buffs out easily enough so no worries about looking like a glitter bomb. I really love the golden peach color of this. It isn’t really an Orgasm-like shade as it’s a bit lighter but it will build up nicely to a full on healthy peach glow on cheeks.

The formula is quite silky and blends nicely on cheeks. It does kick up a good deal of powder when you brush through it, that’s not a bad thing just a warning for the heavy handed folks. Pigmentation is very good! So good in fact it might be a problem sheering the shade out but just use a lighter hand for a more subtle finish.

Overall, it’s a nicely formulated blush without a doubt. I do have reservations about the price though. The formula is no worst and no better than what you can get at your local drugstore. So near $20 for a blush ($16 plus taxes and you’re nearing the $20 range here) definitely feels a little too high to indulge for me. Even a BOGO offer doesn’t tempt me terribly here…

I purchased this item.

Yeahhhh…that’s too much for that! But the color is promising.

So what the “All in one” part? The name seems to imply multiple functions or benefits. Me no understand.

I don’t know why, but I’ve never felt particularly attracted to make-up from The Body Shop. I adore their bath & body products, but the make-up just doesn’t do it for me.

Meh – with Milani’s blushes under $10, TBS needs to get over itself.

    Thanks for the review baby!
