WEN Fall Ginger Pumpkin Cleansing Conditioner Review

Guess what? WEN Fall Ginger Pumpkin Cleansing Conditioner is back! Just in time for Fall (and most importantly Halloween). I dunno about you but combining beauty with my fav season gets me excited.

Anything that smells like Fall, I’m typically all over and Wen’s Ginger Pumpkin Cleansing Conditioner brings Fall to my hair with the spicy aroma of cinnamon, pumpkin, and ginger.

Yes, you need some!

This super rich cleansing conditioner was developed to eliminate the need for a shampoo and a conditioner as it acts as both. With the texture of a rich, creamy conditioner it conditions hair as it cleanses never stripping hair or your scalp of there natural oil.

The best part?

The harvest fragrance of pumpkin, ginger, and cinnamon. This scent has a strong linger and throw and gives your hair a touch of Fall spiciness and warmth!

Love!

This stuff is not for me. It didn’t clean my hair at all, just weighed it down & made it get greasier quicker. Have yet to find a cleansing conditioner that actually works.

same with me, I finally tried it and it jsut made my hair feel greasy, I was so disapointed.

      • Sarah

Ahh, I wish the scent wasn’t so enticing because I cannot, cannot, cannot use WEN. Wanted to be fair and try it for at least a week but after the second day I couldn’t take how greasy and weighed down my hair felt, worst of all it never felt clean.

Have you guys tried L’Oreal’s cleansing conditioner? I had the same problems with WEN (greasy, weighed down hair) but with L’Oreal I had none of those problems!

  • Kate

Oh man, I really wish my scalp didn’t turn all angry whenever I used Wen.

Squeee!! I’ve been waiting for the fall version of WEN!! I got the spring one (gardenia) and really like it, and I’ve been haunting (so to speak) QVC til the fall one came it, and you just let me know it’s there, so I just ordered! WOOT! Thanks Muse – I can’t use WEN every day, but I really like to switch it out with regular ‘poo – works fine for me!

Can’t WAIT to snortle this scent!!

    **iz unreasonably excited about hair cleanser** :-}

So glad they’re bringing this stuff back! Currently using the summer mango coconut. I’ll have to blog about this one too come fall so I can share how I liked it last year. I only use wen as a conditioner on my ends because I have greasy hair, though!

  • JenJ

Looking forward to trying this one. Did you hear that 32oz in the seasonals are a comin?!?! Woot! Come on Winter Vanilla Mint!

  • JoElla

I want to love WEN, but my local water is much too hard for it to work.

  • Majick

I’m still using my coconut mango from the summer. And I think I may have a little winter vanilla mint left for one or two washes. I think I will like this spicy version but I may not need to buy any WEN for a while so I may miss this go around.

I switch up my poo and cond. to meet the needs of my hair depending on seasons etc. so my product usually hangs around for a while.

Ugghghgghgh I’m a sucker for pumpkin anything… Never tried Wen as I am the cheapest cheapo ever. I just used regular shampoo today for the first time in like 2 months after going no poo and I was like NO WHAT HAVE I DONE??? Maybe it is time for Wen hahaha!

I don’t understand how this product makes anyone’s hair “greasy”… this stuff is GREAT (and no, I don’t get paid to say that). I have long straight dark hair and it has never looked better. Love, Love, Love me some Wen! : )

I have two comments: to the gals who complain of greasy locks with Wen, you may not be rinsing thoroughly enough. Try rinsing for at least two minutes and see if this makes a difference. And I may get lynched for this one, but much as I love my Wen, the fall ginger pumpkin has so far been my least favorite. It smells mediciney to me. Soon as I finish this bottle, I’m going back to my old favorite, and standby sweet almond mint. Come summer, I have a bottle of coconut mango I haven’t opened yet.
