You know… I never tried Fresh’s lip treatments until I picked up my Sephora birthday gift, with the mini original and Rose sticks. I wasn’t too impressed at first, but now I find myself reaching for them constantly.
I just may have to indulge in the gift set if they do release one.

  • Missy

I swore I’d never buy a $20-plus lip balm til that dratted Sephora birthday set …

I caved and bought the Honey balm :::hangs head in shame:::

MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE! I missed you soo much! How have you been??? Did you get you iphone5? I did :D.

    • the Muse

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII missed ya back where ya been? ;-D YES! It’s rather awesome, in love with the satiny back, no fingerprints w00t! It’s so slick! I was worried it would be too big but it’s perfect! the panoramic is kinda overrated though? I don’t get how to use it lol!

      • Cj

I’m not gonna lie I seriously haven’t even tried the panoramic thing yet lol! I got mine at RadioShack xD didn’t even need to wait in line lol. I love mine 😀 can’t wait to get my Apple TV for it!

Bye I finally got that Biore gel makeup remover… AMAZING! It’s what I always wanted lol Ty Ty Ty Ty for posting about it 😛 I’m gonna order like 5 more bottles lmao

        • the Muse

I’m really confused with how it works, it’s kinda odd, you have to slowly move the camera to take the shot but it ends up looking stupid when pieced together, I need to practice more! other than that it is awesome!!!!!!!!! ;-D You’re going to love Apple TV, it’s such a great little set box! ;-D YAYYAYAYAY I’m happy to hear that ;-D I like that it doesn’t dry my skin out and gets makeup off super quick!

I’ll have to try this at Sephora. It looks like a plummy shade that is more wearable for my very fair skin than the darker Plum shade. I adore the Passion shade, and I loved the little mini duo that Sephora had as the birthday gift this year. I’ve been wanting to try the Honey shade, as well.

  • Kate

Lucky me I just received my Fresh b-day set on Saturday (had to open the Sephora box early even though my birthday isn’t until next Monday. no control I tell ya.)

I put the Rose color on my lips and immediately thought to myself “Oh so this is why the Muse loves these so much.” I would defiantly haul a mini set if its available this Christmas and will probably bop into Sephora in December to try all the shades to see which one I like the best. I can see myself reaching for this over and over at work.

    • the Muse

happy bday early kate! 😀 I use them quite a lot myself. They are just easier to touch up than gloss and lipstick!

      • Kate

        Thank you! ^_^

I really liked the scent and could see myself purchasing one of every color and then stashing them at work or in my purse for when I want color but don’t want to worry about how precise I am in applying lip stuff.

        • the Muse

;-D that’s why I tote them around Kate, easy application and they travel well for me :D!

I have used these one & off over the last couple of years. I like the plum & berry shades because they work well with my skin tone & leave a bit of stain when they wear off. My complaint about them is they come off really quickly & the price is a bit outrageous for what you are really getting.

    • the Muse

lol no worries karen understood what you meant ;-D it’s monday, you’re entitled!

  • Liz

To be honest, I absolutely hate these. I’ve been trying to use up the Sephora birthday set I got, but the rose one broke in half just putting it on my lips, and the regular one made me break out around my lips.

  • dangster

So I saw the new Berry shade at my local Sephora store (in Palo Alto) 2 weeks ago. I was really surprised as I hadn’t heard a thing about it on the web. I swatched it on my hand–it’s definitely more opaque than most of the other shades, similar to the Honey shade.

      • dangster

I’m good! The reason why you haven’t heard much from me is because I decided to take a step back from buying beauty stuff–my bathroom is overflowing with goodies, hehe.

        • the Muse

lol I hear ya! I wish I could step back, it’s SO damn hard!!!!!!!!!!!!! but other than an overflowing of beauty goodies how is all else? 😀

  • Susan

I finally caved and bought the coral shade this summer cause I had a Sephora gift card. I like that one because it has more intense color and stains my lips a bit. I will have to swatch this one when it shows up at Sephora, looks pretty. The only downside for me is the price.

    • the Muse

hey susan, agreed, I used to not mind the price so much but for a balm, it is kinda up there, a little shave off would be nice, say $12-$15 dollars? Rather than $22.

  • Cindy

Call me crazy, but I don’t know what all the love is with these lip balms (Don’t kill me)! I did get one of those mini duos from sephora, but regardless of all lip balms I buy and use, I always resort back to my Burts Bees. Nothing feels better on my lips!

  • Tinkibell

I wanted to try these so I was so happy to see what the Sephora Birthday set was. I got mine back in June but sadly was never able to actually TRY the balms as they had completely melted by the time they made it to my door.

I twisted open the tubes to find a gloppy mess that in no way resembled a tube of balm. I am still really bummed about it.

I am very fair with very pink undertones, so I am interested in this color. I’m just not sure it’s worth the price if they will melt so easily?

    • the Muse

oh no tink! that’s awful!!!!!!!!!! where do you live? is it very hot!? I never had the issue tbh! how odd they melted so fast! did you leave them in a hot car?!

  • Stephanie

heard the rumor of mini set will be launched around october. its called Fresh Sugar Soiree Mini Lip Collection, if am not mistaken. Tehee.. Cant wait!

  • Southern Gorgeous

Oh sweet addiction! I need it! I already ran out of my Rose and my Plum is not far behind!!!

  • rebecca

I have *all* of these, including the advanced lip therapy. I will clearly need to pick up the new Berry shade once it launches! And possibly the mini set. My fave lip balm ever, I won’t use anything else. For me the Passion and Coral are the ones with best color; I don’t feel Rose really has a tint at all, Plum is kind of muted on me, and Honey doesn’t look great on my lips so I keep it on my desk at home for when my lips are dry but no one has to see me 😛

I do keep them in the fridge in hot weather, tho, becaue they get kinda liquidy otherwise and they feel great when you put them on cold 🙂

    • D

I got hooked on this too with the birthday gift from Sephora. If they have a mini set I think I’ll have to get it. The best part is it smells like lemonade!

  • Laura S.

I got the mini set last year, honey, plum, & passion, and I love them. I do have to watch out though, as I am fair, so both passion and plum look way dark on me. I think I’ll try out the berry, as maybe it would be a better color for me.

  • Chase

I bought this today and I absolutely love it! I think it will be great for fall…and the rest of the year xD
