Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour

Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour ($24) launching shortly is a creamy eye color with a quilted design available in three shade selections.

These shades can be applied wet or dry for a multidimensional, luminous pearl finish and a metallic effect.

Take a look!

Supposedly they have a soft bouncy texture and are a talc-free formula.

I’m curious about these as they sound like a hybrid creamy powder yes?

Shades:

  • Gilded Platinum
  • Gilded Bronze
  • Gilded Moonlight

These are launching shortly at Laura Mercier counters and online at lauramercier.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These look awesome. I have been enjoying more non traditional textured formulas like L’Oreal’s Infallible Shadows. I bet these LM ones are gonna be similar to the Sephora Prisma Chromes. Can’t wait to swatch these in person!

I feel like she did quilted somethings before. You didn’t have any reviews if she did but I didn’t bother google for it just a hunch this is a re-promote.

I’ve had a play with these and they’re very very similar to the Estee Lauder powder gelee eyeshadows/highlighters they’ve been releasing. I think Sephora and MAC have had similar powder/gel textures released recently too.
