L’Oreal Project Runway The Queen’s Shine Colour Riche Le Gloss Review, Swatches, Photos

L’Oreal Color Riche Le Gloss in The Queen’s Shine is one of four, limited edition shades released with the new L’Oreal Project Runway Fall 2012 Collection.

I’ve been a fond fan of L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss since they released so I’m always quite excited when they do a few new shades. The Queen’s Shine is a vampy crushed berry that’s quite sultry for Fall.

Take a peek!

L’Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss is definately one of those shades you need to be neat about during application. The color has a tendency to want to migrate around your upper lip line so a little clear lip liner or any lip liner would be a good idea to keep it in place.

This is the darkest shade released in the Project Runway Collection which applies fairly opaque on lips so what you see in the tube will translate well to lips. The shade looks purple but it’s actually a crushed berry red with shimmer (it looks a little fuchsia on my lips). The sparkle isn’t too obvious in the finish in my opinion.

Le Gloss formula has always been a smooth, easy wear without being sticky or uncomfortably heavy. It produces a nice high shine and feels virtually weightless on lips. The Queen’s Shine does stain lips a little bit after its worn away so you’ll want to carry it for touch ups if you don’t like such a look.

The shade is quite lovely and should pair well with other reds in your collection. It is an easy to wear shade for me, nothing too dramatic of crazy so I think most will like the color overall.

It’s available for a limited time at drugstores now.

Anyone pick it up with their L’Oreal Project Runway hauls?
