Slakin & Co. Pumpkin Carving Candle Available at Bath & Body Works

Bath & Body Works gave away their Pumpkin Carving Candle with any home fragrance purchase on Saturday. If you missed the event, no worries, you can still haul this candle.

Take a look!

Is it terribly weird I expected this to smell like the inside of a pumpkin? Seriously, I love the scent of a freshly carved pumpkin….!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t.

This is a blend of ripe pumpkin and toasted marshmallows with a touch of fall woods according to Bath & Body Works. I actually feel like it sorta smells like Cider Lane with a ton of pumpkin and cinnamon, I’m not getting the woods or marshmallow.

If you missed the event this weekend you can haul the candle itself at for $9.50.

You can also indulge in the 2 for $20 sale on all large Slakin and Co. Candles and use promo code SEPBBW to get 20% Off your total purchase and $4.99 Flat Rate Shipping!

Did you get Pumpkin Craving?

  • 9/17/12 11:39 Michelle:

OMG… total flashback! My mom used to make pumpkin seeds with salt after we carved the pumpkins for Halloween. Ahhh, I miss those days.

I didn’t pick up Pumpkin Craving, but I just hauled 5 candles this past weekend and I hauled 8 candles a week or two ago (whenever candles were last 2 for $20). I am on a candle moratorium until they release their Christmas stuff. (At this point, I’m pretty honest with myself when it comes to their candles. I stock up every summer and fall, and I usually pick up a few more every Christmas. I’m a sucker for anything vanilla and/or Christmas-related. lol)

i’m totally a convert to these kb ;-D I can’t wait for xmas blends wahoo!

  • 9/17/12 12:46 OrangeLipstickBlog:

My mom makes a batch of sweet pumpkin seeds (sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon) and savory ones (Dale’s sauce). I love having two options!

    • 9/17/12 13:06 the Muse:

  • 9/17/12 12:53 JoElla:

I got this candle this weekend and the description on the bottom of mine says “A blend of fresh pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla tells the tale of bringing home the perfect pumpkin.” This sounds a lot more accurate to me than what their website says.

    • 9/17/12 20:23 the Muse:

agreed alicia…! also doesn’t it smell very similar to sweet cinnamon pumpkin and cider lane?

      • 9/18/12 13:59 Alicia:

It is similar to Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, I definitely get notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, and vanilla. I don’t think it smells like Cider Lane though, I think of apples and caramel when I smell that scent, but that is just me!

        • 9/18/12 14:07 the Muse:

alicia, I dunno why I get a little cider from it too ;-D but yeah def closer to sweet cinnamon pumpkin ;-D PS can’t wait for the holiday candles!

          • 9/18/12 16:58 Alicia:

Me either! Do you have any heads up on what the scents will be this year?

          • 9/18/12 17:17 the Muse:
