And they lived happily ever after…..

Rory always told Amy that he loved her more than she did him.

Mr. Pond you waited for thousands of years for your beloved, you were the boy that waited, the man that endeared himself to us all when you continuously looked death in the eye and came back from it. How you do that Rory? Even Idris knew you were the Pretty One as for the fandom we like to think of you as a fumbling boy in love.

Nurse, Husband, Father, Companion, we love you Centurion but turns out Amy loved you just as much as you loved her, you didn’t know that did you?

Not since Jamie McCrimmon has a male companion captured my heart so!

But Amy wasn’t ever quite ready to settle down was she? Always on the run from life, responsibilities, and her own marriage.

But when it came down to making that final choice Amy choose you Rory, not the Doctor.

And you both lived happily ever after with the Weeping Angels feeding on your time energy. Ahhh romance!

A fitting Farewell to the Ponds.

As for the Doctor…expect him to be back in emo funk mode for Christmas 2012. Oh joy! Nothing like an emo Doctor who just lost a companion, Ten, I’m talkin’ to you dear boy!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Heartbreaking ending for the Ponds …. but I like that they were together? and I like that Amy chose Rory. When The Doctor was yelling that it was a fixed point in time and he would never be able to see her again ….. yikes, tearing up now. I’m never excited about the new companion, but usually am pleasantly surprised. I just don’t like the “adjustment period.”

Ahhh! I can’t see these episodes until they are on netflix but I’m so happy that these two stayed together!

I didn’t understand a single word of this. I guess I have to finally cave and start watching! Everyone raves this but I’m strangely resistant to it for some stubborn reason!

watch it, I recommend starting with the Tom Baker years ;-D I say that to everyone, ignore me ;D

oh lawdy, i cried like a baby! I have it saved on my dvr, so i’m going to revisit the awesomness that is this ep and cry again. at least amy still got to interact with River with the book. we were speculating, did amy communicate with the Doctor via other books??

me too ruth! still sniffling! Not that I know. Perhaps in some future episode? Was happy to see River but still trying to understand HOW she got to that fixed point in time!?

starting to firmly believe that River is made of magical properties and normal “rules” of time travel don’t necessarily apply to her.
