Bare Minerals Night Vision Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliners Holiday 2012 Review & Swatches
Time to rock around the clock dears with the new Bare Minerals Night Vision Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner Set for Holiday 2012. This fab set includes 1 Full Size Round the Clock Eyeliner as well as 4 minis and a sharpener for creating perfectly festive looks for the Holidays.
And did I mention the sweet $29 price tag?
Bare Minerals Night Vision Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliners ($29) is one of two new eyeliner sets that Bare Minerals has launched for Holiday 2012.
Each set includes one Round the Clock Eyeliner in Midnight (0.04 oz), a classic black, with four mini liners (0.02 oz each) and a sharpener. Props for Bare Minerals for including a full size sharpener with the set. Seriously, how many liner sets can you name that’s are so thoughtful to include a sharpener outside of Urban Decay? Thanks Bare Minerals I appreciate it!
Now one of the most unique aspects in this set comes in the form of the shade 5 AM. This is a gorgeous liquid metal gold. I don’t have a shade like this in my stash and find it very unique and quite nice for festive Holiday looks.
The formulas on the liners is quite nice. Creamy, smooth, very easy to apply and smudge out plus on dry down (just a second or two after application) they set for all day wear so I have no issues with fading, flaking, or smudging on my drier eyes.
Shades included are:
- Midnight (black)
- 11 PM (charcoal)
- 6 AM (plum) (exclusive)
- 4 AM (aqua) (exclusive)
- 5 AM (metallic gold) (exclusive)
5AM, 4AM, 11PM, Midnight, and 6AM

Most of the shades lack and glossiness or sparkle and have a flatter, matte finish aside from 5 AM which has a metallic finish. There are exclusive shades here not available in the general catalog which allows the set to be an even greater temptation.
Two pencils would set you back $30 and this includes the equivalent of two fuller sizes. At $29 it saves you a dollar and you gain one extra mini pencil as well as a sharpener.
On the downside…the caps on the pencils seals really tightly which made them difficult to open at times. I had to really pull hard to get them off and even broke one of the pencil tips due to this. They are also extra soft so when I have to be careful when sharpening them to avoid the tip breaking off quickly.
Overall, it’s quite a nice set and under $30 which makes it an excellent price point for indulging. I think the tempting part of the set is definitely the exclusive shades particularly the gold which is stunning!
The set is available at Sephora, Sephora.com, Ulta, Ulta.com, and www.bareescentuals.com
Will you haul it?
