Bath & Body Works Lambie Slippers Holiday 2012 Review

Yay! Bath & Body Works brought back my beloved Lambie Slippers for Holiday 2012. It’s been nearly three years since Bath & Body Works did a Lambie Collection and finally it looks like this year the collection will be making a come back.

In stores right now I’ve seen a Lambie Sleep Mask, Lambie Slippers, and little Lambie Ornaments but there’s been reports of a possible blanket and I’ve heard some reader’s mention plushes.

I picked up two pairs of the slippers since I had a $10 off $30 coupon which. They are $15 each and this brought them down to $10 each. If I’m honest I like paying $10 per pair versus $15 each hehe!

Does anyone actually remember how much the slippers originally cost? I feel like they were in the $20 range….? I know they weren’t cheaper than $15.

Either way, I’m just happy they are back!

These are so cute. I nearly forgot how much I missed them. Does anyone remember that they used to have a very odd sole before, kinda cardboard? BBW did away with that! Now they just have a warm fuzzy layer of material as the sole. They are cuddly, very warm, and cute. They even went so far as to print “Count Sheep” on the bottom of the slippers. I don’t think they are terribly well made. Shuffling around the house will show wear after a time like any slipper. However, I do think they are a vast improvement on the old pairs which seemed to easily tear and just show major wear after a few short weeks of use.

Overall, they are an absolute must have in my opinion! They come in S, M, and L. I typically fit a small just fine but this time I went to a medium as they seem to run a bit on the small size. They make an excellent gift and I highly suggest snagging at least two pairs for yourself. I have a funny feeling they’ll sell out mighty fast.

Love these.

Available now in store and at www.bathandbodyworks.com

These are positively adorable! They are TOO freakin cute, I think I need them. Can I ask what shoe size you wear muse? I’ve never gotten slippers from BB&W so I’m not sure what size I would be, but I wear a size 6-7 shoe.

get the medium liz, for some reason the small is snug….or try them on in store ;-D I’m a 7-7 1/2 and I took the medium. The small used to fit fine but they looked like a kid’s slipper for some reason or at least a tween girl’s foot size ;-D

I’m actually kind of glad they run small, cause I’ve always wanted to buy them for little ones… Now maybe they’ll fit my 11 year old cousin!

I think the small would fit me then…I wear size 5 1/2. My husband got me lambie one year: A blanket – still sit in the blue box that came with it (I baby it! ha), stuffed lambie and a pair of slippers – they are more like the house socks though and I haven’t wore them since it’s just too hard on my feet, no soft cushion at the bottom whatsoever! I love lambie and want to get these slippers.

that should be perfect moon! your feet are very tiny! awwww! I totally know the feeling of babying the blanket ;-D I have several variations of it and I have a bin I keep them in ;-D

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a large MIGHT fit! you have to eyeball it in store and see ;D

Cj, try to try them on in the store before committing to buying them. I wear a 9-9.5 womens (well, I am a woman, but I think it deserves saying here haha) and the L size slippers didn’t really fit comfortably even though they said they were for sizes 8-10…my heels were RIGHT on the edge, nearly touching the ground. I ended up returning them the next day *sniffle*.

oh those are just tooo cute!!! 🙂 I usually wear fuzzy socks around the house (their the easiest to get on) but these would be a definite step up!! 🙂 I would just hate to get the bottoms dirty 🙁

    • the Muse

Aghh not to sound anal but I think you meant “sole” of the shoe instead of “soul” as shoes and can’t have souls… sound the same, different meaning. Lovely review btw. 🙂

sorry jenny multitasking here sometimes my head things faster than my hands.

So exciting! I bought my Lambie sleep mask years ago and have kept it since because it’s so great and I can’t find it anymore. Guess I’ll have to add this to my wishlist!

Bought a navy blue lambie ornament today. The face, ears and feet have gold thread spun into the cream fabric. Costs $3.50 CDN. I was hoping they would bring back the 3 scented lambies in the little coral that you put in your drawers. I missed that the first time around. I also have a lambie ornament from a few years ago that makes snoring sounds when you squeeze it. I keep them on the fridge. zzzzz!

    • the Muse

yay! I brought two of them Alisa so cute 😀 omg I don’t have that! snoring sounds!? SO CUTE!
