Dupe Alert: Mark Star Status Eyeshadow Palette

If you’re lemming Laura Mercier’s new Petite Baked Eye Colour Trio launched for Holiday 2012 but don’t have the extra cash to spare perhaps the new Mark Star Status Eyeshadow Palette will fill your sweet tooth.

Take a look!

Priced at a friendlier $14 (although that is a tad expensive for Mark in my opinion) these trios feature a trio of twinkling baked eyeshadows in two color variations.

Shades:

  • Earth Angel
  • Meteor Shower

Considering Laura’s are $25 these might be a worthy dupe as you can get two for nearly the price of one.

As for me, I’m always a little terrified at how high Mark products have been going lately. Avon is so affordable, why isn’t Mark?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I just saw these in the catalog and was thinking it was a laura mercier dupe! I’ve never tried Mark. products before. Are they good?

I find the Mark products to be overpriced for the quality. Love Avon Glmersticks, though!

I think what Laura’s trios so unique is that one has bronze and a deep blue which is a stunning combination.
    These look pretty though
