Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Light Diffusing Foundation Coming Soon!

Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Light Diffusing Foundation ($58) will be launching very soon on counter and is the next great thing in the foundation world.

Capturing light within your skin this foundation is a moisturizing blend with a light diffuer to give skin a luminous glow and radiance.

It provides medium coverage in a sheer satiny finish, with an SPF 25.

I don’t do very well with “glowing” foundation products and wasn’t terribly impressed with YSL’s newest foundation so I’m unsure at this point if Guerlain Parure de Lumiere Light Diffusing Foundation needs to come home with me but it sounds intriguing to say the least.

Satiny? That’s calling my name. I would like to try this, but I can never find a match with Guerlain’s limited color range : (

I am still loving the Shiseio do Refining Foundation I bought two weeks ago.

I love the sound of this, but I’m afraid it won’t have a decent color match for me 🙁 There also seems to be a cream version launching along with it. I honestly can’t remember the last time a high end (or any?) brand launched a cream foundation, and of course now I want them both. And Shiseido’s new glowy foundation (Radiant something?) which is getting rave reviews for dry-skinned folks and is supposedly full coverage!
Will have to use some serious self-restraint. One face, so many new foundations 🙂

Glow-effect make-up isn’t for me (and my already ‘glowing’ skin) either, but I love to use this kind of products on models and clients. So I look forward to this one!

It sounds promising! I have actually never tried a Guerlain foundation before so not sure about the color range.

Glowy foundations are hit and miss for me. There is one by dior and one by ysl that were hits both are discontinued now I think. I prefer a slightly dewy look but some make me look sweaty instead – not pretty. I just haven’t been into pricey foundations lately so this will be a pass for me at least without swatching – ha.

This foundation in Beige Pale works really great for me and it’s what I’ve been using for the past two months. I’m not a BB/CC cream fan, at all, as I prefer full coverage foundations sheered out. BB’s never work on my skin though I think they are great younger skin. But…I’ve been using the Guerlain lately and it feels so much like a BB/CC cream to me. It’s absolutely nothing like YSL’s touch eclat foundation, thank god. It’s not sweaty, shiny, or oily at all. Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation is more like the YSL.

The Parure de Lumiere is pretty perfect to me. You should try it Muse!

The texture is fluffy too, sort of mousse-like but thicker, maybe a bit like the Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB SPF 20.

This foundation is amazing! I have very dry skin, my T-zone is very flaky and is so hard for me to find a foundation for my skin. I used make up forever hd, urban decay naked, Lancome, Stilla, clinique, ysl and shiseido and none of them where good for my skin, but this foundation with Hourglass primer is perfect!
