L’Oreal The Muse’s Shine Color Riche Le Gloss Review & Swatches

Do pick up the new L’Oreal Color Riche le Gloss in The Muse’s Shine. My ego demands you do because it does have my alias on it *blinks innocently*!

Kiddin’.

Do grab it because it is the perfect overcoat for your Holiday lip looks.

Take a look!

This limited edition shade of L’Oreal Color Riche Le Gloss was introduced with the L’Oreal Project Runway Collection for Fall 2012. No worries about finding it as I’m just NOW noticing the collection creeping into drugstores so I do hope it’s the same in you area…!

Le Gloss is one of my favorite drugstore lipglosses as most of the shade have an opaque true to tube color finish. However, the Muse’s Shine is the exception as the shade is fairly transparent and acts as more of an overcoat for lipsticks and stains. I recommend it for Holiday because it’s this delightful dirty gold shade that will add a touch of golden sparkle to a bright red lipstick or stain. Who doesn’t love gold and red together? It’s kinda my ideal festive lip color.

The Le Gloss formula is a shiny, glossy finish gloss with a weightless feel sans stickiness. The color could be a tad disappointing for those who generally migrate towards this gloss formula for the pigmentation so do buy it for use as an overcoat. Don’t buy it expecting that gold to translate onto lips in all its metallic glory as this doesn’t have the pigment to back that kinda look up.

Overall, I loved it! You can’t really get a feel for how it looks in my image below sadly but I promise it is quite a lovely way to add golden sparkle to your fav lip products.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. *blinks innocently* 🙂 I like the gold color its kinda cool but I’m really into the sparkel and gloss it gave to your lips!

I love this gloss. I bought it to be a topper and the scent surprised me. I do need a backup since the glitter isn’t gritty by any means.

This looks so pretty on you! If it was fully gold and glittery, your lips would be like a Christmas tree decoration. (Both a good and bad thing :P) The name suggests it was meant to be, sad that it was not approved 🙁
