MAC Glamour Daze Blush Small Vanity Review & Swatches
MAC Small Vanity Blush is one of three blushes released with the MAC Glamour Daze Holiday 2012 Collection.
This is actually the most unique of the three and one I’d say is worthy of a haul if you’re dithering back and fourth between which shades to add to your cart and which to not add.
MAC calls this a dusty rose tan and that’s fairly accurate. It’s dusty, it’s rose, and yes it does have some tan and brown in there. It’s a satin finish but there is some glow to it when applied I noticed.
Depending on your skin tone it’ll reflect any multitude of shades once applied. On me it comes across as a unusual peachy tan.
I can’t honestly say I have any shades like it in my collection and I think depending on the eye look I do it’ll look different each time I use it. For example, if I go with a warmer eye look I think it’ll look a bit dusky rose on my cheeks but a cooler eye look might produce more of a peachiness…!
The formula felt a little dry to me but I always feel that way about MAC Satin Blushes. This doesn’t hinder the application or blend out and the blush had excellent pigmentation all around. I think it should be suitable for many skin tones but super fair skin might feel it makes them look a little dirty for lack of a better description due to the tan under laying in the blush.
Overall, I think it’s unique enough to add to your cart and might be one of the first colors to sell out so I wouldn’t really hesitate on this one. I could be completely wrong of course but I do feel it’s unusual enough to warrant the purchase.
I’m Muse Approving it due to its uniqueness.
Likey!
