If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a friend might I suggest the Benefit Go TropiCORAL Lip & Cheek Kit ($28). This is one of several palettes introduced for Fall 2012 but people, Imma tell you, you should totally gift it to a friend as soon after Christmas we’ll be dreaming of Spring Break and that’s when we can whip this beautiful palette out and create glowing peach cheeks and plush lips!
It’s perfect. Pure bliss.
You NEED it.
We are pretty deep into Fall now and honestly Holiday 2012 has over taken much of it but the L’Oreal Project Runway Fall 2012 Collection is just now starting to get a wider release in the New York area.
I originally came upon the collection at Harmons but I’m noticing that Walgreens has gotten huge displays as well as CVS. So if you’re still searching have no fear that the collection is sold out. Seems they are stocking up very slowly in some locations.
I picked up two of the eyeshadow quads one of which, The Temptress Gaze, I already reviewed for you. Today I thought I’d have a look at the Muse’s Gaze (ha, it’s named after me!) Eyeshadow Quad.
Take a look!
MAC has released eight shades of Extra Dimension Eyeshadow with their Glamour Daze Holiday 2012 Collection. Interestingly enough they choose to go smaller with these shadows.
They went from a whooping 0.07 oz down to 0.04 oz. To add insult to injury each one is $19.50, the larger size was $20………WTH? How did that happen?
At first I was excited about the smaller size because I actually don’t like when MAC does those massive eyeshadows. I feel like I’ll never use them all up. However, I don’t want to spend more for less! Jeepers!
Let’s take a look!
With all the excitement surrounding the launch of MAC Holiday 2012 I wonder, did you notice MAC didn’t do any LE packaging for Glamour Daze?
Unless you count that the compacts are a glossy black versus the traditional matte finish black that MAC prefers.
Does it bother you?
Do you like the LE packaging or are just worried about the contents and not so much what it comes housed in?
I actually don’t mind these glossy compacts. They are nice and simple and I’m not worried about using them. With LE packaging I sometimes get all anal about using the product and wanting to protect it with my life. At least if it’s basic black I don’t feel as protective.
How about you?
Although I’ve praised Lush Ice Blue Shampoo many a time I thought, since it’s cooler, we should discuss it again. Let’s just make a rule we talk about how brilliant Lush Ice Blue Shampoo when Summer turns to Winter and Winter to Summer.
Because mint in the Winter is all kinds of fun! And mint in the Summer is all kinds of cool and refreshing…!
