Philosophy When Hope is Not Enough Omega 3-6-9 Replenishing Oil Review
When Hope is Not Enough you might need to pray…hard! Especially when your skin is dehydrated and in need of some serious moisture.
But no worries, Hope is actually plenty enough and Philosophy saves the day with their Replenishing Oil.
This lightweight oil is not only packed full of moisturizing planet oils but also ones that supply the benefits of fatty acids to skin which doubles up on hydration for dehydrated skin.
The oil comes in a 0.85 glass jar with dropper for $45. Seems a bit to splurge for such a small amount but you need as little as five drops added to your nightly regime for a nice surge of moisture. So this smaller bottle will last you quite a long time.
The oil does have a heavier scent but thankfully nothing like Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar (which I’ve likened to wet dog). It’s sorta herbal fresh scent that’s very pleasant but I think those with sensitive skin might find the scent a little overwhelming so do sniff it prior to purchasing.
The texture of the oil is non-greasy and absorbs easily into skin however, I think it is a little too rich for daily use so I tend to use it nightly prior to my moisturizer.
Overall, it’s an excellent treatment serum for drier or aging skin. It’s something you’ll want to inject into your PM routine to keep skin moist and hydrated which in turn prevents the signs of aging. I found it keeps my skin very smooth and flake-free. I typically navigate to using it more in the Winter months as it gives a hearty boast of much needed hydration to my drier skin. Those with finer lines due to aging will notice those lines blurred thanks to the hydrating factor of the oil. It’s an excellent follow up serum when used with any of the Miracle Worker products and I actually prefer it over Argan Oil products.
