Smashbox Studio Pop Holiday 2012 Collection

I know there are some fond followers of the Smashbox Photo-Op Eyeshadows so you should be pleased to see them making an appearance in the new Studio Pop Holiday 2012 Collection.

I gotta admit I do prefer when Smashbox does Color Collections and it seems ages since they did one as now they really focus on palettes and Holiday 2012 does get that treatment.

There seems to be a few variations of the Studio Pop Palette available at a variety of different locations such as Ulta and Sephora so be on the look out if you really love it.

I feel like this is very called in. Smashbox seems to do the same lipgloss set year after year after year…! Likewise for the liners. The palette could prove haul worthy but the problem is it’s been done several times on QVC so if you shop the Q you likely have a similiar palette from some Special Value or another.

The Smashbox Holiday 2012 Collection is available now at Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, etc..

Anything you love from this collection?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Im digging the pop eye palette , but do I really need it is the question. I havent tried Smashbox eyeshadows, this might be a good way to try them.

ooh thank goodness I still love that massive mega photo op palette. No need for this! I can buy something else =)

But for those who do not have a lot of smashbox, this is a beautiful palette and one worth checking out.

I love certain items from the Smashbox line, but these sets seem very boring. =[

I’ll be passing. I’ve come to the realization that I’m very picky with shadows and Smashbox shadows don’t do it for me. I never use last years holiday palette. The glosses aren’t exciting (I’d rather have the Tarte lip set). The liners look nice, but I like the available Urban Decay sets better.

If the mascara is good I might want that liner set. I like the colors and usually smashbox liners are ok. I think I can skip the other stuff.. just nothing I don’t have or want more of.
