Almay Intense I-Color Liquid Shadow + Color Primer Swatches

I picked up a few shades of the new Almay Intense I-Color Liquid + Color Primers which are part of Almay Intense I-Color Bold Nudes Collection for Spring 2013. These are a cream shadow with a built in primer that you can wear alone or under a powder shadow as a primer and base.

Take a look!

For Green Eyes, For Hazel Eyes, For Brown Eyes

Almay Intense I-Color Liquid + Color Primer are available in four shade selections. Although they market the colors for specific eye colors and what would flatter those eye colors I purchased the shades out of what I WOULD like.

I got the Hazel Eyes, Green Eyes, and Brown Eyes colors.

The texture seems very similiar to Covergirl’s version on swatch. This is a thinner formula with a little bit of silicone feel and finish. This type of texture proved difficult to work with with Covergirl’s version as the color failed to build up and just slid around my eye as I blended. But…! I can’t write them off until I tried them.

Review is upcoming as soon as I test them out.

Tried them already?

Feel free to share your love or not!

Haven’t seen these before, but I look forward to your review! I’m trying out primers myself at the moment, so it would be cool to compare :-)

Why green for green eyes? Its not eveb really a pretty green! After my mom insisting my eyes were hazel for years and now my boyfriend saying they’re brown, I’ve come to the conclusion my eyes are actually a slightly darker moss green (it’s actually pretty!) with brown to make central heterochromia. Central heterochromia is a common type of heterochromia in humans, where there’s a ring of darker or different color around the pupil and the iris is another color. Creates some beautiful combinations! Like blue-gray with a greenish ring at the pupil, etc.
