If you like sparkly shades of shadow dive ahead!
Wooowee! I tried one of these and they are glitter central!
Each shaker pot is a generously sized 0.11 oz. The pots are tiny enough to easily store but I find them a little messy to use during application. I generally like to tap loose eyeshadows and pigments into the lid and swirl my brush around it. This is a tiny lid so it does prove a little messy to shake the shadow out.
I tried one shade, Edwards Love which is an off blackish-grey with multicolored silver and blue glitter. It’s not a chunky glitter however, there’s so much of it that it comes across very glittery with less of a refined sparkle. Although the pigment does have color enough to produce a true to pan finish, the shimmer dominates the look and creates a disco-ball look.
For a young girl perhaps…for me, self confessed shimmer lover, it’s too much. It also produces a ton of fall out which results in extremely messy application to the point it seems impossible to clean it from your face, cheeks, and everywhere else it falls.
Don’t get me wrong, they are a nice little budget pot of color but the sparkle proves a little too rich for me. Overkill to the max.
These are available for a limited time at Ulta locations.
Anyone haul ’em?
