Hard Candy Eye Sparklers Eyeshadow Set for Holiday 2012

Here’s a sneak peek at the new Hard Candy Eye Sparklers Eyeshadow Set that was released for Holiday 2012. As you know Hard Candy released a few gift sets for Holiday 2012 that I recently showed you in a past post.

This set features three palettes for a mere $5 bucks so beauty budget fans will be quite happy that they can either haul all three for themselves or break the set up and gift to friends.

If you have a younger girl or teen in your life this is a nice stocking stuffer as well!

Take a look!

I purchased this from Walmart.com as I had a difficult time locating it in any store. I had the same issues with Hard Candy’s Holiday 2011 Collection. It just seems to be a collection that alludes me for some reason. I had a rather poor experience with the Holiday 2011 Sets so I wasn’t expecting much from Holiday 2012 but these little shadow compacts might just change my mind.

Mind you they aren’t going to compete with MAC or Urban Decay but they look pigmented enough. Each set contains three complete palettes with six strips of color each. There’s a blue set, a pink one, and a green. My favorite is the green so far.

I’ll be reviewing and swatching shortly but though I’d share a few images with you first.

Anyone see this set at their local Walmart?

What do you think of it?

Do share!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was just about to post that they look exactly like the Profusion palettes at Big Lots!

Got these when they came out. I would say they are fairly pigmented, but they smudge and fade throughout the day.

I did NOT see these at Walmart but I bought the blue shade lacey “Top ten” palettes they had. So far the shadows in that set are hit or miss (mostly miss). A lot of fallout, chalkyness, and some blend like coal. A few nice shades (lavender) but for $6 I didn’t cry that some of the colors sucked.

    I hope these fare better!

aw sorry to hear it! I didn’t try either one yet, top ten or sparklers, but I suspected they would be meh!
