Mariah Carey by OPI Collection

OPI has teamed up with Mariah Carey to launch a limited edition shade selection of Nail Lacquers for the New Year. The eight shade collection was hand selected by Mariah Carey and includes four new OPI Liquid Sand Lacquers which has a groundbreaking technology for a texture matte finish infused with reflective sparkle.

Take a look!

“OPI is extremely excited to work with Mariah,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Shes very passionate about beauty and her nails in particular. Her music, which includes 18 Billboard No. 1 singles, served as a wonderful inspiration for glamorous, sultry, vibrant colors.

“To pay homage to her iconic status, we wanted to launch her collection with something completely new and exciting. OPI Liquid Sand nail lacquer offers a never-before-seen look with a pebbled finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. Worn without top coat, Liquid Sand lacquer gives nails a unique textured matte finish worthy of a superstar.”

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Lots of GLITTER, what a surprise 😉 *lame*
I have to say, though, I actually like most of the colors.

I just…..hate MC. I’d like to try to pebble ones but I’m not sure I can buy anything related to her because eww.

Pink Yet Lavender looks really pretty. I’m interested in the new sand formula too!

  • Nicki

Ick, I don’t like MC. But I’ll pick up Stay the Night I bet, depending on swatches.

I love glitter polishes with a matte top coat on it, so I’m definitely going to pick up some of the new “sand” polishes. Probably the purple & the vampy one.

Omg I love all of these! It’s very seldom I love an entire collection, but these all look great! Not sure how I feel about that sandy bit… But that nude color is to die for!

They look amazing and I do agree with OrangeLipstickBlog, I don’t like MC. That music is annoying and she’s just… Annoying. I however am all over these polishes, especially the black.
