Hard Candy Lite Bright Whipped Brightening Concealer ($6) is a new whipped click pen concealer that launched for Fall/Winter 2012. Hardy Candy markets the formula as an illuminating concealer to brighten eyes and reduce the appearance of dark circles.
I’m a complete concealer h0r so of course I had to get my hands on this as soon as humanly possible. After a variety of trips to the evil empire Walmart I was finally able to track this down. Believe me heading to Walmart more than once is like removing teeth from my mouth without anesthetic, god help me. But for concealer I was willing to do it.
E.L.F. Studio Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow ($3) is a new shimmering cream shadow release from the brand available in seven shades. That’s the problem by the way…seven shades? We need more variety guys! These rock!
These soft, fluffy mousse-like shadows are incredibly lightweight and have the perfect amount of lovely sparkle for the Holidays.
Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara is a new volumizing mascara that offers a clump free finish. I’m not sure I really have issues with clumps…don’t get me wrong there are mascaras that clump occasionally but I blame the formula or applicator not necessarily my lashes. That’s not to say that clumping isn’t an issue some folks experience, in that case you might be seeking out a formula that will offer you a clump free finish.
On top of not having issues with clumps I wasn’t terribly excited to try Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. I have not come across a single mascara from the Lashblast Collection that I actually like. For all the marketing and all the bells and whistles that comes along with their massive applicators I typically end up with a more natural fringe of lashes after use. You’d think all that fanfare would give me some drama but sadly, the finish from a Lashblast Masara is typically mediocre and just falls flat of what one would expect especially because most come with those HUGE club style applicators that look like they could do some major damage.
Perhaps Clump Crushed by Lashblast will change my mind?

My Bath & Body Works doesn’t have Lambie Plushes yet but I sure as hell want one as soon as they arrive. I was in store last week hauling candles like nobody’s business during the 2 for $20 but sadly no Lambie Plush!

However, they are available online for $8.50. At that price she’s probably quite small but still do so want a Lambie stashed under my tree this year. Now if they would just launch Lambie Blankets my Holiday dreams would be complete.

P.S.S. They had these cool moisture swirl hand soaps too in Winter Candle Apple and Vanilla Bean Noel but not such luck on Twisted Peppermint. They are kinda cool as they have a layer of lotion swirled into the antibacterial soap…!
