Sana Hadanomy Aqua Placenta Moisture Cleansing Foam Wash Review
Sana Hadanomy Aqua Placenta Moisture Cleansing Foam Wash is my newest cleanser obsession. I have this thing for foaming cleansers. I’m not really sure where the obsession stems from but I find foaming cleaners so damn fun. We really don’t have a ton of foaming cleansers in the US but Japan and much of Asia embraces them wholeheartedly.
One of the first foaming cleanser loves was Kose Airy Whip. To this day I still use and love it with all my heart! But I’m willing to cheat on it sometimes!
Sana actually just introduced their Aqua Placenta Collection, much of it I reviewed for you already! However, this cleanser just passed by my desk recently and I def had to try it out for size.
Supposedly this cleanser contains “Placenta Essence” which promises to brightens skin. The main ingredient is “Aqua Placenta” which contains natural placenta essence (collagen from an ocean and planet source), three kinds of hyaluronic acids, acerola extract, and glycerin.
I know placenta sounds odd but no worries they aren’t using placenta from an animal or human source. That, would be a little gross for me.
Sana Hadanomy Aqua Placenta Moisture Cleansing Foam Wash comes in an aerosol style can with depressor. The depressor releases just the right amount of cleanser without over doing it.
The cleanser is a dense foam much like hair mousse which you can either use to cleanse your face or use as a mask treatment. I use it as a cleanser to remove any access makeup, dirt, and oil after using a cleansing oil. It does an excellent job of whisking away remaining makeup while leaving skin feeling very soft and smooth after use. The mousse changes into a thick lather as you massage and rinses clean away. It has a slicker feel as you massage it in which results in a softer feel after rinsing.
I have issues with cleansers and my drier skin so I always look for ones that won’t make my skin feel tight after use. This leaves my skin nice and soft without stripping.
It has a light white rose scent supposedly but for me it just smells fresh and clean. It’s mineral oil free as well.
Overall, if you’re looking for a gentle softening cleanser to use in conjunction with your cleansing oil I’d suggest checking this out. This is excellent for whisking away makeup, oil, etc…without stripping skin or making it dry after use. It’s also an excellent pick if you already own and use the Aqua Placenta Collection.
Likey!
I purchased mine from AlphabeautyUK on E-bay for $15.95. That’s terribly jacked up compared to Japanese retail sadly so you might want to shop around and see if you can find a better deal.
Do you use any foaming cleansers?
Any favs?
