Sephora Black Friday 2012 Deals

The Sephora Black Friday Deals for 2012 are already listed on Sephora’s Facebook Page. This is great because I recall last year they did the Black Friday Deals on Thanksgiving Eve.

You have to be quick to snatch these deals up I recall the site crashing last year in a major way. Thanks to reader Caroline for telling me about this!

Here’s what they’ll have!

Remember all these deals are merely $10 each.

  • Sephora Collection Gilded Brush Trio
  • Bare Escentuals Let it Glow Set
  • Best of Boscia Set
  • Ole Hendriksen 3 Little Holiday Wonders
  • Philosophy Purity Made Simple (12 oz)
  • Stila Travel Girl Holiday 2012 Palette and Kitten Lipglaze
  • Tokyo Milk Femme Fatal Trio
  • Too Faced Deluxe Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzing Powder and Travel Kabuki Brush Set
  • Tarte Full Size Gifted Mascara & Mini Multieye Lash Primer
  • Jack Black Comfort & Joy Shave & Lip Duo
  • Josie Maran Bare Naked Facial Wipes & Nail Wipes Duo
  • Tocca Mini Rollerball Trio
  • Bite Mini Lipstick Palette
  • Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer & Shadow Set
  • Buxom in the Spotlight Set

Obviously some of these are better than others but I do see one or two products I’d be willing to haul for myself and perhaps as stocking stuffers.

These will be available on Sephora.com starting Friday November 23. Realistically speaking I imagine they’ll sell out if you plan to shop in the morning on Friday so if you’re awake around 12AM you might want to do some super late night shopping…Of course, I’m just thinking of how it went down last year. The site crashed, stuff sold out within an hour of being listed as I recall but don’t quote me (around 12-1AM), etc….maybe this year they’ll be better prepared.

Anything you’ll be grabbing from Sephora on Black Friday?

Any other Black Friday deals you have to share?

It seems like Black Friday/Cyber Monday aren’t that big a deal as I’ve noticed shops like Old Navy, New York & Co, etc…all seem to have percentages off your total already earlier this month so how low can they possibly go?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Nothing I’m interested in this year. I can save my money and get the Bath and Body Works VIP bag instead.

    • the Muse

kim I kinda sorta feel the same. I see maybe one thing or two on here that I’d be willing to go in on but prob not…? It’s not anything exciting. Last year they had the tokidoki palettes for $10, that was exciting ;D

    • Tiffany Martin

(double post, I tried to reply to this earlier, yay now it works!)

I hadn’t heard about the VIP bags before, but I probably won’t indulge (though they sound cool) because I just got an amazing haul from The Body Shop over Veteran’s Day weekend. I sorta think of these two companies as similar, so if I buy a lot from one, I don’t haul from the other for a while.

I doubt I’ll get a better deal anywhere on Black Friday as I picked up $284 worth of products for $65.64 (+$30 for Groupon vouchers). Keep your eyes open folks, because sales are shifting to avoid competition, so this year there may be BETTER deals before BF.

Oh man… I remember last year. It did indeed crash terribly! I was so angry about it because I’d fought my T-Day coma to stay up and shop this sale at midnight and didn’t get a thing because of the crashing and everything selling out. I was hoping I wouldn’t want anything this time around, but there are actually several things I’d like to get there… :-/ I don’t know if I want to go through that frustration again, though.

    • the Muse

sarah same here…I remember I was shopping really late on friday (12 am/1am) and trying to get all my black friday sales in early and I couldn’t haul anything because the site was just unusable. Hopefully they are better prepared!

  • kimkats

Ooooo! THanks Muse! I got my sephora catalogue yesterday and saw the card in it talking about this – hadn’t had a chance to go check it out yet – there’s a few things I may have to scoop up!

  • OrangeLipstickBlog

The Tarte mascara and primer will probably be in my cart! The TokyoMilk is tempting, too. I thought I might want the Too Faced bronzer but…eh…considering how rarely I actually wear bronzer, I probably wouldn’t use it.

  • BLee

Those look like they could be great stocking stuffers?I did pull the card out of my magazine to remember it.

  • Lori

I’m kind of happy there is nothing I really like here. Now I don’t have to spend any money 😉 I love Buxom but I only order online if I’m doing 50+ so I get free shipping.

Last year I went crazy with the Buxom mascara and eyeliner set, Josie Maran’s argan color stick, and the Art of Shaving travel set. This year, not so much!!!

  • Amy Amethyst

I’ve never been out on black friday and never plan to. Online deals are the way I would go. People are too crazy out there and I hate crowds. I know some people love getting out there but it just makes me nervous!

  • Louise

Pretty underwhelmed! Whew, good! 🙂 Have you heard anything about Ulta’s Black Friday? I am hoping for another $19 duo of Benefit boxed powders!

  • Hannah

I already have 5 things in mind to purchase! Boscia, Tarte, Tocca, Buxom and Too Faced. Oh goodness! I will have to stop by a store before work. Just have to find out what time they open in NYC…

  • Tiffany Martin

I hadn’t heard about the VIP bags before, but I probably won’t indulge (though they sound cool) because I just got an amazing haul from The Body Shop over Veteran’s Day weekend. • Tiffany Martin

That was supposed to be a reply to Kim, but the reply button under her post isn’t working for some reason. >_>

  • Lemony Licks

Everything is tempting but nothing a must-want. I might grab the tokyomilk trio.

  • Caroline

In the top photo at the bottom it says prices in CAN are $12, and ones with a cross next to them (I think only Tokyomilk and Philosophy) are not available in Canada.

  • Vi

Hmmm….so many tempting things! That Lorac shadow is really pretty, and I’ve been looking around for a good neutral shadow. I’ve heard some good things about the Philosophy cleanser, but currently my Clearasil daily acne wash is serving me fine. I do really want the Stila and TokyoMilk sets, though. 😀

  • Tammie

I’m interested in the Lorac and the Buxom ones, I might try and get them. I use the Lorac primer now and it’d be nice to have a backup plus the eyeshadow looks like a nice color. The Buxom lip thing looks like a nice color and I am always interested in trying new mascaras.

  • Boone

I was all set to pass until I saw the Lorac set with the eyeshadow primer… that’s my HG primer, so if I’m still awake at midnight I’ll probably try to grab one. Everything else is totally meh, IMO.

I kinda feel bad admitting this, but I had no problems with Sephora’s website last year, and shortly after midnight scored two of the Tokidoki palettes, plus the Korres, Stila, and Josie Maran deals. My apologies if my hauling that night contributed to the site crash! 😀

    • the Muse

I KNEW it was you!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are banned from sephora this year ;-D hehe! I actually sorta had success placing them in my cart after midnight but check out turned crazy and wasn’t able to fully get the order the through boo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dina Lopez

Last BF I was able to get 2 of the full size Kat Von D Adora perfume and the tokidoki palette as well as the buxom set.(What is the buxom set this year anyway?) However, this year I’m seeing nothing I really like! Last year, I feel like there were full size products on sale for $10 while this year it seems like they are deluxe samples for $10. I recently got the too faced bronzer for free with a code when I ordered and I think its the same size.
Not to be a downer, because I’m a big Sephora fan and I do love their sales but I would rather wait for the regular sale instead of buying on Black Friday.
I can’t rave enough about their pantone nailpolish and set of 3 liners on sale for $7. Thank you for posting this muse, I was waiting for it!

  • Xail

Nope, nothing that interests me here. Since my computer crashed twice last year during the sale (and took me until almost 2 AM to finish placing my order), I have no problems with sitting this sale out.

  • Jenny

I remember the site crashing last year and I stayed up till 3am (when they managed to get the site back up) to place my order and it went through lol.

  • Laura

I won’t even attempt to stay up and order online this year because last year was such a miserable experience. I would like some items and if I go to the mall, I will stop at Sephora for the deals, but if not I will just pass. Too bad shopping online is so much easier most of the time.

  • Danii

But the question is, can I get the Tokyo Milk Dark collection in store? It’s just one little thing I want; the rest is… Meh, in my opinion.

  • Lulu

Anyone else notice that above the Bare Essentials label there is a photo of a bare minerals product….

  • Laura

I’m actually interested in a bunch of them. The buxom mascara is one of my favorites, so is the tarte. The lorac eye primer is my favorite eye primer (I still have like 3/4 of my tube so I probably won’t buy it) And I’ve been dying to try the tokyomilk perfumes, so I’ll pick them up if I can. And maybe the tocca perfumes as I really like cleopatra and kinda want to try the other ones. I’ll be online at 12:01 to try to pick some up haha.

    • Dina Lopez

@Katie, 2 per item, its under the main image at the top in the disclaimer 🙂

    • Mary

Only 2 items per customer?? What does that mean exactly? Only 2 of any of the individual items? Or you can only buy 2 things?

      • syd

i think it means two items of one product, like you couldn’t and go and buy three or four tarte gift things if that makes sense…i mean that’s how i viewed it!

  • Riley

I think the Urban Luxe Mini Makeup Palette will be sold for $5 on Black Friday at Sephora. This is because I went to Sephora, and saw a big load of them. I asked about them, and they said that they were $5. Yet, when I went online they were $15. I assume that they will be a $5 Black Friday Special.

  • Angel

I’m interested in the Too Faced bronzer. I almost bought the full size during VIB but talked myself out of it. For $10, I’ll take it. I also like that mini Bite palette. But it looks very tiny, not sure it’s worth it.

  • Susie Allread

They had better deals last year. Last year I got the full size bottle of Kat Von D for $10, and the Stila, and a few other things. I might get a few things on here, but not like I did last year.

  • syd

hey i don’t know if this has already been asked, but are these deals only available online or can i go to my local sephora and still get all of these $10 deals? second question, are these like ACTUAL full sizes, or just sample sizes? this is my first time experiencing sephora’s black friday and wasn’t aware….thank you for posting the goodies and thanks in advance regarding these questions! :]

    • the Muse

online only syd. depends on the item, some are mini, some are deluxe size samples, and others are full size. just read the details on each item when it hits the website for actual size 🙂 hope this helps! My pleasure! Have a good time shopping!

      • Vixki

I think they’re available online and in stores. I just checked Sephora’s facebook page and that’s what they said…so you might want to double check

  • Lisa

Any updates on what time zone this is? Facebook page is being super unclear about whether this is EST or PST. I’m CT so trying to figure out if I’m shopping at 11PM or 2AM.

Anyone remember what timezone it started last year?

    Thanks!

  • Camille

Does anyone know where I can check the store hours in my area? I might wanna go to the store and check these things out in person first 🙂 Thanks!

  • andrea

on what site can we purchase this stuff if your not able to get to the store early friday?? sepora.com or on facebook?

  • Melissa

The Purity Made Simple is a steal, getting 2 of those for sure!! Love Stila so that’s a maybe and I am considering the Lorac, Tokyo Milk and Tocca also. Hoping the site doesn’t crash like it did last year!!!

  • Sue

The site has crashed even before midnight. So much for Sephora fixing those servers. I just ordered from ULTA. They actually have better deals and was able to order with no problem.

      • Tammie

It kept going down off and on but other than being frustrating it worked out fine and I still ended up getting everything I wanted (Lorac thing and Tarte thing).

  • Sheepy

Went to my local SEPHORA and they didn’t have half of this stuff when I got there. Or at least, they weren’t on the black Friday display! They must have either sold out/hid it all over the store (the tocca one was in the bins and not a single one was on the bf display)/didn’t have some of them at all. I was eyeing the too faced bronzer and stila palette but couldn’t get either. Meh. I got the tokyomilk trio because there were a ton, but I would have gotten the tocca one instead if I saw it on the bf display. I didn’t see it until I paid and saw it in the bins on the way out! The lines were ridiculous by then so I just left.

The tokyomilk perf smells nice though! The packaging was a cute touch c:
