Sephora Lollipop Lip Gloss Review and Swatches

Sephora Lollipop Lip Gloss for Holiday 2012 is the perfect little treat for decorating your Beauty Trees this year!

Shaped like a little lollipop this sugary flavored lipgloss is the perfect little stocking stuffer, gift topper, or Holiday party favor. And for six bucks it’s not too bad on the wallet either.

Take a look!

Sephora Lollipop Lip Gloss comes in a tiny cylinder packaging with ribbon so you can hang it from your tree if you desire.

This has a sugary fruity taste with a little underlay of perfume. It’s rather pleasant if you like flavored lipgloss but if you’re sensitive to fragrance in your lip products you might want to pop one out of a box at Sephora and do a little sniff test.

I wouldn’t say it’s the best gloss formula in the world. It’s a sheer shade of shimmering pink with a thicker texture and a little bit of stickiness that allows it to wear for a few hours without fading away quickly. It’s not terribly glossy but it gives a nice sparkle when applied over lip stain or lipstick. They market it as ultra shiny with a mirror finish but that takes things a little TOO far.

The key selling point is the cute packaging. It makes a rather cute gift topper or something to hang on a beauty lover’s tree. I think $4-$5 would be a better more rounder price for it. Six isn’t bad mind you but the formula is a little lacking so $4 to $5 would be friendlier.

Cute wins the hand though! This is adorable. I admit I picked up a few to attach to gift tags!

Likey!
